Why stay here ...

The Site is based in between two quiet rural villages. The 5-pitch touring site located on the brow of a hill with a lovely view as you will see from the pictures.

Our site offers a quiet haven from which visitors can explore all that the area has to offer. Just 18 miles from Warwick and its beautiful Castle, 25 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon with its famous Shakespeare birthplace and 17 miles from Silverstone Circuit.

We offer 5 pitches suitable for both Touring caravans and Motorhomes with views out over the paddocks where sheep graze.

Each pitch is serviced with water and a grey water disposal points. There is a chemical toilet disposal point and a general waste bin.

Families & Dogs welcome. We are open from March until November. As you will see from the photos, there are some nice walks to the local Reservoir and Canal which attracts lots of walkers & fishermen.

Local fisheries include;

  • Boddington Reservoir - Home Farm Fishing Lake, Stockton, Southam CV47 8HX
  • Stockton Reservoir - Napton Reservoir, Tomlow Road, Southam CV47 8HX
  • Dog Lane Fishery - Priors Marston Road, Napton on the Hill, Southam CV47 8LT
  • T K Fisheries - Anglers Hideaway, Southam CV47 2SL
  • Bishops Bowl Fishery - Station Road, Bishops Itchington, Warwickshire CV47 2SR

We have two pubs, The Carpenters Arms (Lower Boddington) & The Plough (Upper Boddington) which are in walking distance, both are 700 metres from the site, left out of the gate to Upper Boddington & right to Lower Boddington. 2 local Coops, Fenny Compton 4.5 miles & Byfield 2.5 miles from the site.

Upper & Lower Boddington is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is an exceptionally quiet and peaceful place to live.

There are numerous bridleways and country walks to be found and if a canal side walk appeals, then you can discover the Canal on the road that leads to the neighbouring village of Claydon.

Upper Boddington Village Hall grounds is available for all to use which provides an adventure playground and recently installed bicycle track for children.

The pitch is not level or hard standing but is dry for most months of the year, you will need levellers. There are large areas for awnings and are positioned with views across grazing paddocks. The standing area is 10m x 10m to accommodate the largest Tourers/Motorhomes with space enough for car parking. The pitches are easily accessed from the hard-standing roadway.

Perfect getaway spot

Coleman's Hill
Just returned from a 2 night stopover. As previous reviewers have stated, no EHU, but a brilliantly sunny spot so loads of solar. Levelling blocks required. Tap and grey waste to each pitch. Chemical disposal in corner of field. Exactly as described. Good dog friendly pub in Lower Boddington, 10 minute walk down hill. Will certainly return of we're in the area. Really quiet at night, very little passing traffic, just owls hooting and deers barking.A most relaxing spot.

Lovely peaceful site

Coleman's Hill
Just returned from this lovely CL, easy to find from either Lower or Upper Boddington. We visited the pub in Lower Boddington and were made very welcome and had a great meal. Site itself has taps and drains on each pitch, pitches slope down a little so you might want ramps depending on your unit. No electric hookup but as others have said sunlight is good for solar. Great break at this site and would recommend to others.

Excellent off grid site

Coleman's Hill
Easy road access near, gated site entrance. perfect site (ramps/self levelling needed as per site info). Views over country side are beautiful. Site is shielded from the road by high tree line. Site feels very safe and very well site up for amenities, good sun line for solar panels. Drainage and water per pitch is a real benefit. Paved access to both adjacent villages each with a pub/restaurant just several minutes walk. Site owner very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing break and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this site.

A peaceful site with spectacular views on a road with a pub at each end.

Coleman's Hill
We booked our stay for a week in July and were initially drawn to the site by the view over the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire countryside and we were not disappointed. The individual water and waste connections for each pitch are brilliant and although there's no electric hook-up the site gets plenty of sunlight to make a solar panel more than compensate. The site is well positioned for access to Coventry, Stratford, Warwick, the British Motor Museum at Gaydon. There are two National Trust Properties, Farnborough Hall, and Canons Ashby within a few miles. We enjoyed a couple of good walks around Boddington Reservoir and the Oxford canal. Brilliant site and will definitely return.
