Bridgwater Certificated Locations

Somerset’s Bridgwater is a lively destination with a great historic feel and its annual carnival is a must.

Every November, Bridgwater hosts a spectacular illuminated procession which features music and fun. It is even believed to be the largest carnival of its kind in Europe.

Outside of carnival season, the town is well worth a visit just for its stunning historic buildings. Many examples of fine architecture can be found in Castle Street, King Square and Cornhill.

For those who want to find out more about Bridgwater’s past, then the Blake Museum is the place to head to. Named after the famous naval commander Robert Blake, who once lived in the town, it has a fascinating collection of maritime objects.
