A lovely September break

Rookery Farm
Our first visit to Suffolk, perfect weather and a great CL to use as a base for exploring. A warm welcome on arrival, level, spacious grass pitches in peaceful, well cared surroundings. Useful information room, plus toilet and recycling facilities, all clean and well looked after. Owners clearly take pride in their CL.

Very Spacious and Quiet site

Rookery Farm
Nothing much to be added to previous reviews. Having traversed most of the ways in and out during our stay there isn't a way that to the CL that doesn't necessitate negotiating country roads so pick your poison. There is a CL sign high up on the left with an arrow just past the pub as described by the owners. Then be careful to allow enough room to pass through a fairly narrow entrance between fence panels between concrete posts. Once through the farm the CL is easy to enter. A very spacious 6 pitches on grass await. Please be aware there are just the 3 water points so bring a splitter if you want to guarantee attached water supply. Very tranquil site. Large grass pitches, no problem whichever you are allocated. There is a very clean toilet but no shower. Nearest towns are Halesworth (5 miles) or Bungay or Beccles, both a bit further. All in all we spent a pleasant time here.

Superb Site

Rookery Farm
We have just returned home after a stay at Rookery Farm. What a wonderful site easily one of the best we have stayed at. The owner Peter was very informative and friendly, the pitches were very well spaced out with individual water and ehu. As the site was well back from the village road it was very quiet. The added bonus was a spotlessly clean toilet and information room and it was good to see that there were recycling facilities .Just a short stroll away there is a village pub "The Racehorse"it is a community pub with a friendly atmosphere. A site that we would definitely return to.

Outstanding

Rookery Farm
Just returned home after 3 nights on this immaculate CL. So well kept. Clean and tidy and handy toilet block with info about the local area. Nice generous pitches away from each other and very rural. The field is all enclosed and neatly maintained. Excellent dog walks and cycling all around. Each pitch had water and electric hook up - very handy. The owners were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful time - highly recommended if you like to get away from it all.

Easter Break.

Rookery Farm
Rookery Farm is a lovely spot set in North Suffolk. We wanted to look at the local rates by bicycle as we often drive through. This proved to be a good spot to work from. A warm welcome on arrival with guidance about the close by community pub, Racehorse, enabled us to settle in quickly. Food at the pub is very good but best to book. The site is all to grass. A very enjoyable stay and our hosts were very helpful.
