NEW FOR 2026 - We now have two 200W solar panels available for guests to borrow. These connect directly to your leisure battery and provide reliable off‑grid charging for anyone wanting to try going off-grid or who need a power top‑up during their stay.
Sweet Knowle is a peaceful, back‑to‑basics CL set on our working arable farm, surrounded by open countryside, wildlife and lakes.
The site is open all year round, with hardstanding pitches used during the winter months to ensure good access in all weather.
The CL is quiet and spacious, offering lovely views across farmland and lakes.
The grass is mown regularly. Some areas are gently sloping, so levelling blocks may be required.
Facilities include drinking water, shared toilets, a chemical waste point, and refuse and recycling bins — all within easy reach of the pitches.
Dogs are very welcome, and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the unspoilt rural environment with walks around the farm. The land is a haven for wildlife, with regular sightings of ducks, swans, geese, moorhens, coots and herons (we have a heronry on the farm), as well as buzzards, red kites, little owls, reed warblers, deer, hares and foxes — so don’t forget your binoculars.
We are located on the edge of the Cotswolds AONB, perfectly placed for visiting the area’s picturesque towns and villages, including Chipping Campden (8 miles), Broadway (13 miles) and Bourton‑on‑the‑Water (20 miles).
Stratford‑upon‑Avon is just 5 miles away, offering Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, the RSC theatre, river boating and a wide range of attractions.
There are many interesting places to visit nearby:
National Trust properties such as Hidcote (6 miles), Charlecote Park (8 miles), Upton House (13 miles), Snowshill Manor (15 miles), Coughton Court (16 miles), Packwood House (20 miles) and Baddesley Clinton (21 miles).
Warwick Castle (13 miles), Kenilworth Castle (19 miles) and the British Motor Museum (17 miles).
Several excellent dog‑friendly pubs are within a short drive, including The Bell in Alderminster (2.5 miles), The Howard Arms and The Red Lion in Ilmington (3 miles), The White Hart in Newbold (3.5 miles), The College Arms in Lower Quinton (3.5 miles) and The Fuzzy Duck in Armscote (4.5 miles).
For walkers and cyclists, the Monarch’s Way and Centenary Way pass close to the farm.
The No.51 bus stops at the end of the drive, providing easy access to Stratford‑upon‑Avon and Moreton‑in‑Marsh.
We also have an aquatic shop on the farm specialising in tropical fish and pond plants.
Mobile phone reception on site is good and the site sits in sun all day.
As we are a working farm, I may not always be able to answer the phone, so for any queries or bookings please feel free to contact me by text message, WhatsApp or email as well.
