Wiltshire Certificated Locations

Wiltshire is a county situated in the south-west of England that's famous for both its countryside and its history.

Perhaps its most well-known landmarks are the stone circles of Stonehenge and Avebury, which are must-sees, but there is also the Cherhill White Horse and a host of other prehistoric monuments that will delight history buffs.

Outdoor pursuits enthusiasts and walkers will also be in their element, as almost half of Wiltshire is made up of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the sweeping valleys are simply beautiful to look at.

Other Wiltshire highlights include Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat (for the country house and the safari park), Stourhead, Lacock Abbey and the Swindon Steam Railway Museum.

The county has plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to suit all palates and visitors will love browsing the many independent and big-name shops within its towns too.
