Dungiven is a small town within County Londonderry in Northern Ireland, right at the foot of the impressive Benbradagh hill and close to the scenic Glenshane Pass.
It's the ideal place to visit if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, as the countryside is beautiful and the Causeway Coast is right on the doorstep.
Local attractions include the Priory of St Mary's and the tomb of O'Cahan. In the churchyard, thorn bushes hide a bullaun stone that's said to have the power to cure warts.
There is also the magnificent Dungiven Castle, which was rebuilt in the 19th century and now houses an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy a bite to eat after a day of outdoor pursuits in Banagher Glen.
