The CL at South Port 'O' Spittal, with stunning sea views, is situated a short 10 minute drive away from the picture post-card harbour village of Portpatrick. The village boasts an excellent pubs and restaurants overlooking the harbour. The village is also dog friendly.
Within one hour of the CL is the Mull of Galloway, the most southern part of Scotland and home to an RSPB nature reserve. There are a number of designated walks in the area including the Mull of Galloway Trail.
For those with an interest in gardens there are the Logan Botanic Gardens, arguably Scotland's most exotic garden, whilst a short drive away to the north are the 75 acres of Castle Kennedy gardens.
A popular day trip is by ferry from nearby Cairnryan to the bustling city of Belfast with its excellent shopping possibilities and of course it's first rate Titanic exhibition.
Dog paddock on site, honesty box with home baking, jams, marmalades and fresh free range eggs. Fresh home made bread also available on request.
