Fantastic site

It was the first time we'd been to this site, Mr and Mrs Fleming are lovely. Site is in a beautiful setting, very quiet and relaxed. Loads of space and free to pitch where you wanted. We'll certainly return to this well kept site

What a super site!

Ended up here after visiting another site nearby that was infested with flies. After arriving at the other site and being covered in flies we got the CC book out and looked for an alternative nearby as we were visiting friends in nearby Kelso. Spoke to Mr Fleming on the phone and after he confirmed no flies we made our way there. He said just pitch up and we can settle up when you leave. We dont like to do that so once settled in we walked up to the farmhouse where we were made most welcome, It is a lovely if basic site at the side of a working farm, single grass field with trees and hedges around the outside, just pitch where you like. large enough that you dont have to be near anyone else if you so choose Peacefull and quiet with only the birds and the occasional tractor to break the peace. Facilities basic but adequate. Can only be 5* in our eyes and will definately come back next year. One slight potential problem we noticed on departure after a bit of heavy rain the day before was that it is uphill to leave the site onto a gravel track. had a little bit of trouble getting traction to get out of the gate but it was a front wheel drive car dragging a heavy van with two bikes on the back so no real surprise there! Certainly doesnt detract from a super site, a credit to its owners

Gem of a site

1 acre site well cut, basic facilities but very acceptable.  The area is fantastic and Mrs Flemming is the most welcoming owner we have met.

Thankyou to Mr Fleming

We have just returned from his CL after a three night visit. Arrival was easy and the site offers a large area in which to select your own pitch area. We pitched in the lower area of the site and were only aware of others when we ventured away from the caravan. The site was very peaceful surrounded by countryside. The site was well kept with everything we needed. Mr Fleming made us feel welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble for him to enhance our visit. This site is highly recommended if you want peace and quiet in the Scottish borders. Sainsbury and Lidl located in Kelso, 10 mins away.

What a find!

This little gem of a CL is secluded and peaceful yet ideally placed for local places of interest. The facilities are basic but ample, there is some recycling on site. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Be sure to visit Kirk Yetholm to see the end of the Pennine Way and enjoy a drink at the Border Hotel. The Kirk at Linton is also worth a stroll around the kirkyard - the sundial has been in place since the late 1700s and keeps excellent time! There is a new Sainsbury's store, with fuel, 7 miles away in Kelso.
