Why stay here ...

If you are looking to get away from it all, Capel Bach is the perfect site for you. The site is set in the beautiful country side and is surrounded by fields, greenery and also a view of Llyn Alaw reservoir. On site you also have access to other fields, perfect if you would like to stretch your legs or take the dog for a stroll. For families we have a play area located on the top field, it’s near enough to be able to keep a watchful eye as the children play but far enough to keep the site peaceful. All pitches are fully serviced with TV points and FREE WiFi.

The Caravan Park is located in the peaceful village of Rhosybol, the village also have a local shop that has all the essentials you will need and also have a selection of scrumptious cakes, coffee and take out foods. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and also a public house a short drive away that also serves food. Rhosybol is a great location for those wanting to be based somewhere quiet but also wanting to be near to the beaches, costal paths and attractions. There are plenty of beaches nearby with the popular beach of Benllech only 15 minutes drive away and most beaches accessible by car with 25 minutes. The Island also has a lot to offer the little ones with attractions like Pili Palas, Sea Zoo and Foel Farm only 20-30 minutes away.

If you enjoy going for walks and learning about local history, Parys Mountain (Copper Kingdom) a world heritage site is well worth a visit. The historic copper mountain is located just outside the village of Rhosybol and has different path choices depending on your ability and also the distance you would like to walk.

On Anglesey we are also blessed with the stunning coastal path, a developing long distance route that follows much of the island’s coastline. The path primarily caters for walkers however cyclists can also enjoy certain sections. The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path falls within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which covers 95% of the coast. It passes through landscape that includes a mixture of farmland, coastal heath, dunes, salt-marsh, foreshore, cliffs and a few small pockets of woodland. This includes a National Nature Reserve (NNR).

At the end of the day why not take a seat on one of the picnic benches and watch the sun set over Llyn Alaw reservoir, a perfect way to end the day!

Immaculate

Capel Bach
I stayed here for 4 nights with my 3 children and dog in our trailer tent. The children absolutely loved this site and made full use of the brilliant play area, they loved the visits from the playful little cat whilst playing too. The site is immaculate, it’s apparent that lots of work and effort goes into keeping this site well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere. The fully serviced pitches and WiFi were a bonus and toilet is a useful addition and kept very clean The views and sunsets are stunning. It took us 3 1/2 hours to get there and It was well worth the drive, we hope to return one day. Very peaceful and a great base to explore Anglesey (by car). Highly recommend.

Beautifully presented site

Capel Bach
Absolutely beautifully presented site. Immaculate entrance and very welcoming. Very well looked after. We booked last minute and it was very easy to do online. Received automated confirmation and several emails in the run up. The site was lovely with a brilliant dog walking area and childrens play area (one of the best we have seen on any site) this was not something we expected on a CL. Views were great. It is out of the way in a village with a small, well stocked shop within walking distance. So if you want peace and quiet then this is the site for you. Beaches were within 10 minutes and larger shops not much further. The site was very easily accessible with a twin axle van. I rang to ask a couple of questions prior to arrival which were responded to by text message the following day which was great. All in all a lovely stay and a recommended site

Central for exploring Anglesey.

Capel Bach
A great site to explore the whole of Anglesey. Water, electric and Wi-Fi all available on each pitch. Great facilities for walking the dog (fields on site). Our only drawback was the weather: very wet and windy, but this is obviously beyond the control of the owners. Owners were friendly, and very helpful if needed.

Fabulous site.

Capel Bach
This little gem of a site is just what we needed for a peaceful and relaxing week away. With it only having 5 pitches it never felt busy. The caravans are pitched overlooking fields (which are kept immaculately) very handy for an early morning dog walk. The roads on approach to the site are absolutely fine. Amlwch is 10 mins max away were there's a spar and a coop. Plenty to do and see locally and you are never far from a beach. Overall this is a fabulous site, so much so we booked again before we even left!

our new favorite site

Capel Bach
Big, level, hard standing pitches in an immaculately well kept field. The site is dog friendly with two adjoining fields that you can access. We stayed for 12 nights and wish we had booked longer as there is so much to see and do on the island and all within reach albeit by car. Very peaceful site and although there is a child's play area this was at the top of the field and away from the pitches. We occasionally saw the owners but only spoke to them in passing as there was no need to bother them for anything as everything had been explained before arrival. We loved this site and only wished it was a bit closer to us. We will definately be back as soon as we can.
