Why stay here ...

Found in the heart of the Anglesey countryside, just minutes from the coast, our certified caravan location offers the perfect place to escape for families and friends. Our intimate caravan site comfortably has 5 spacious pitches, thus having your own private piece of country luxury. Found within the grounds of Y Ring, Rhosgoch, a Tavern, serving real cask ales, fine wine and home cooked foods.

Rhosgoch is on the North East side of Anglesey, just 10 minutes in the car from Cemaes Bay with its beach and harbour, ten minutes from the Port Town of Amlwch and ten minutes from the beautiful historical Copper Mine, Parys Mountain; a perfect place to tire out the kids and dogs! If Pary's Mountain sparked an interest for what other history our unique island has to offer then, in Llangefni (15 minute drive), Oriel Mon is the place to go with the family to see finding that date back to BC times. For those adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers, one of the activities that you may enjoy is 'Zip World', situated just off the island that is host to Europe's longest and fastest zip line which is sure to get your heart racing, with family activities here as well! There is plenty to explore on Anglesey for solo flyers, couples or families, whether your interests are sleepy beach days, golf days, spa days, kayaking or energetic activities, Anglesey has it all. We will supply you on arrival with our own leaflet of 'Things to do on Anglesey'. Nearest beaches is within 3 miles.

If you just wanted a lazy day drinking wine and beer on a sunny day, you can do that as well! You don't have to be out every day. Sit back, relax and enjoy a BBQ with one of our dusky pink and orange sunsets setting the scene. Our grass pitches and site hedges provide the perfect opportunity to spot our local wildlife, such as blue tits, swallows and bunnies. We do ask that if you're having a BBQ that you do not have it directly on the grass and that you respect our wildlife by not throwing any charcoal etc. into the hedges.

We do have toilet, shower block & waste disposal facilities directly on site for your convenience.

Don't fancy cooking? I don't blame you, you're on holiday! Y Ring offers good honest home cooked food, with something for everyone to enjoy and as a bonus we won't make you do the dishes. Our Tavern offers regular live entertainment, pub quiz's and charity events that the whole community get involved in.

Very clean with excellent facilities...but....

The Ring
The welcome was warm and very accommodating. The new facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. However the all night extremely bright light somewhat spoiled our sleep., and the Elson disposal point was somewhat concerning. It is a grid in the carpark that is at ground level that opens to reveal the sewer pipes from the pub. UGH. Could easily fall in or drop items into the pit!!! The site felt a little squashed together with the new glamping squeezed in to the edge of the field and the route to the toilets very close to the end site.

Rhosgoch, tranquil and beautiful

The Ring
We found The Ring via Google Earth and as we were wanting to venture back onto Anglesey, we chose this as our first spot to spend a couple of days. 5 hook up pitches at the back of the pub/eatery, backing onto open fields. Extremely well maintained facilities. It is very peaceful here, just what we wanted to kick start our little get away. We were gutted we couldn't spend a couple more days unwinding, but the site is booked up. Never mind, we will be back. Thoroughly enjoyed our two days here.

Excellent pub site

The Ring
Behind a great pub - friendly, good food with a good varied menu, 2 or 3 real ales. The pitches are well looked after and very pleasant. The toilet and shower were a bit tatty and unkempt when we were there (hence only 4*), though there was a notice promising a refurbishment in winter 19/20. If you're a dog owner there is a downside in that the only walk from the site is along the road verge (there's no footpath). Although the road wasn't busy, it meant you have to keep a tight lead on your dog. The solution we found was to drive 3 minutes North, where a disused Shell tank farm is. This is popular with dog walkers and has lots of space for them to safely run off lead. (53°23'40.6"N 4°22'43.2"W)

Pub staff very welcoming - great wee gem of a site!

The Ring
We booked this as the last site in our 2 week stay in Wales. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Stayed 5 nights, would of happily stayed longer. The toilets and shower are basic, but clean. And the shower was the best I've had on a site for a long time. Piping hot and lots of water...and all included in our £13 a night fee. Would definitely recommend. Although watch out, we ended up in the bar a lot more than we ever planned to!! Food is decent too.
