Why stay here ...

Tyddynod Bach is situated along the back roads of Llanerchymedd, set amongst 11 quiet acres of land. It offers amazing views of Mynydd Bodafon Mountains and Snowdonia, which are open to the public and have waterfalls all year round.

When you stay at our site, you will see a lot of wildlife, including rabbits, pheasants, and Canadian geese, flying over the farm. It's also home to two doves, Sunny and Cher, who have made a home and are inseparable.

We also have the best beaches in Wales and a lot of history - tan yr. hall is situated in Llanerchymedd town that, in the 18th and 19th centuries, was a historic workhouse for up to 250 shoemakers, which sold in what was possibly the island's grandest market and supplied coal mine workers. The town centre has local shops, a station café and a charging point for your electric car so you can have a Paned (cup of tea) while you wait or visit the award-winning chip shop.

There are two pubs in Main Street which have live music and events, serving food all through the week (local Welsh produce) and a beach that is 5 minutes from the site.

5 miles from Llanerchymedd is Amlwch town where there are four pubs, kebab houses, Chinese and an Indian restaurant (highly recommend). Why not try for a Sunday lunch at the Dinorben Arms which is great value for money.

If you want something a bit more upmarket, then I can recommend Tafarn on the Bay which is 10 miles from the site, situated on the beach where you can sit outside in summer and warm and cosy in winter - food is 10 out of 10 and all supplied by my husbands family business llechwedd meats were we make our own sausage, cured bacon, burgers and steak - we would be happy to supply you with a BBQ  pack  If you pre-order. so, we hope you enjoy your stay with us and look forward to seeing you.
