Perfect, peaceful and a hidden treasure

Llys Y Wenol
Gwen and Davids site is so peaceful and natural. We stayed over New Years Eve and enjoyed every stormy, wet minute of our stay. The site has five pitches and is serviced by a spotless recycling / refuse / toilet disposal area. Gwen has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to share with you, or is happy to leave you be (whichever you prefer.) Night time is so peaceful and with light pollution being low, the sky was stunning. The owners are excited by the local wildlife and on site owls hoot along every night. The location is absolutely superb for exploring Anglesey as its very central and easy to get to. We were delighted with our find and are returning in the Summer. Thank you so much Gwen and David!

Warm welcome and fabulous views

We stayed for 3 nights in our Motorhome in November. Gwen was so helpful right from the minute I chatted to her and booked our stay. She provided us with perfect directions and met us with a smile and loads of local info to help us enjoy our stay. The site is accessible along a gravel track-great for the MH and we selected a hardstanding spot with amazing views to the mountains. Water, grey waste and EHU per pitch. Recycling and bins. Lovely quiet site perfect for stargazing. The local town has a Asda so you can stock up on necessities. Gwen lent us some local knowledge books for walks with our little doggio. Perfectly located for visiting all around Anglesey and of course our favourite Newborough beach/forest 15 mins drive away. Gwen is a lovely host, friendly welcoming and with a real passion for Anglesey. Thanks for having us and we hope to see you again -Victoria, Sean and Dylan 😊

Welsh Gem

Llys Y Wenol
Just got back after eight nights from this gem of a cl. We chose this site because it was central to Anglesey and we certainly were not disappointed. Could reach anywhere in less than 30 minutes, and there was lots to see and do, too much to list here ..Llangefni has all you could wish for and all within an easy walk. As said before the pitches are well laid out and you can get a decent view from most. The welcome from Gwen is second to none, the best we have had, and her love for Anglesey shows in the information she provides you with. Peace and quiet prevail, apart from after dark when you can listen and watch the resident Tawny & Barn owls. We spent most of our 8 nights on our own and the island as a whole was very quiet. We wish Gwen & Dave all the best with their future plans and will return in the future.

A real gem of a site!

Llys Y Wenol
We stayed at this lovely site for 3 nights over the summer bank holiday. So many good things to say, where do we start...... Our pitch had stunning views to snowdonia and was fully serviced - water, electric and waste water. 5 pitches in total, all nicely spaced with hard standing and the site is lovely and quiet, with the only noise we heard at night being the resident owl! The chemical toilet and waste area was nicely fenced off and very tidy / clean. Gwen's knowledge of the island is fantastic, and her welcome greeting provided lots of ideas for trips out and leaflets as well. Location wise the site is absolutely perfect for exploring the island with the nearest beach just 15 mins away. We will certainly stay here again!
