Why stay here ...

Llys Y Wenol is a lovely site surrounded by fields, amazing birdlife, dark starry skies & owls hooting at night. It's located within a one mile walk of the market town of Llangefni where you can find supermarkets, shops, banks, a golf driving range which is situated next to the Oriel Mon, a museum & art gallery and cafe.

The site has easy access, a 5 minute drive off the A55 at J6. There is a wide, easy access road with 5 level grass/hard core pitches and 1 motorhome drive in/out hard standing all within a bunded paddock that has breath-taking open views to the majestic Snowdonia mountain range and down towards the Llyn peninsula.

It's located in the Heart of Anglesey and is perfect for exploring the island and the surrounding areas, being only 9 miles in any direction from coast and onto the mainland, also it's only 25 mins drive to the ferry port Holyhead, where you can catch a ferry to Dublin.

Other attractions close by include Beaumaris Castle, Penmon Priory, Copper Mountain & Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber are just a few of the ancient sites on Anglesey to explore. On the mainland you can visit Caernarfon castle, Electric Mountain at Llanberis where you can always catch the train up Snowdon or for the more adventurous Zip World or Surf Snowdonia. The area is famous for its seafood, sailing, fishing, kayaking, walking and many other things to do. Electric hook ups, fresh water and grey waste drains on the pitches, free Wi-Fi, portaloo disposal and drive over grey waste disposal available on site.

Super site Super owners

We took our touring caravan to Llys Y Wenol last week. The site is quite small but well laid out. Each pitch now has it's own electricity, water and waste disposal, some pitches also have hardstanding. Everything was done by the owners to make our stay perfect. It is so easy to get into Llangefni and to all the places of interest on Anglesey. This site is very central. The local Medical Centre came into its' own for my husband. The owners, David and Gwen, are very friendly and helpful.

Stunning views across to Snowdonia mountain range

We arrived as a tester vehicle for this newly established site and also as a tester for our new motor home, stunning location within easy access of the main A55 Route across the island of Anglesey. Landscaped driveways, mature trees and open farmland teeming with wildlife surround this site. Good basic facilities with amazing views in almost every direction. Hard standing areas and easy access to all the utilities on the pitch. I think this site will improve like a fine wine as the owners Dave & Gwen get to establish themselves within this new business venture, they have some exciting plans and eagerly want to hear what travellers are looking for during their holiday experience. Abundance of things to do in the North Wales area, mountains, valleys, rivers, biking, kayaking, sandy beaches, wildlife, adventure tourism, star gazing, bird watching, gourmet dining, rustic charm or just lots of open space and relaxation. What’s not to like. Jane X
