Great Location and Great CL

Cefn Farm
We chose this CL for its location as it is pretty centrally located on the Island. Never having visited Anglesey we didn't want to be too far from anywhere, and we weren't while staying on this CL. Arrival was straight forward, the handbook's directions are accurate. Access with a large 4x4 and twin axle caravan wasn't an issue either. The owner wasn't present when we arrived but it was straight forward finding the water, waste etc. A short while after arriving the charming owner arrived and made sure we knew where everything was located. The electricity is metered and we took the reading together. Typical of a CL there aren't laid out pitches. The water point is in the centre of the CL, three EHUs with four sockets each are situated around the edge of the well defined CL meaning really anywhere is available for pitching. There is a toilet, enclosed rubbish bins and an excellent elsan disposal point. Views from the CL look towards the Menai Strait (which you can't see) over to Snowdonia on the mainland of Wales, affording wonderful views. On the map the A55 looks to be close by. Don't be put off as you don't see it or hear it on the CL. The road runs through a cutting and the CL is the other side of the hill to it. The week we stayed we weren't aware of it. Great CL, well maintained grass (no cuttings or animal droppings), spotless facilities, a warm welcome and a great location for visiting Anglesey too.

What a Find

Cefn Farm
A proper CL site offering all we needed for 3 nights in our motorhome. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown where everything was. The site has a clean toilet, fresh water. chemical disposal and electric. Plenty of space on a cut field with amazing views over to the mountains. Great location for visiting the island with easy access to shops and beaches. Many thanks. We will certainly be returning. Val and Dave Cotterill

A peaceful and central base

Cefn Farm
Stayed here in May, 2022. Site very quiet and tidy. Owner very friendly and approachable. A field of cows as neighbours. Has a single toilet on site which was clean. Provide your own toilet paper. Electric on meter and run at a similar cost to normal electricity charges, so we found the nightly price quite reasonable. Owner allowed us to use the adjacent field to walk our dogs in the morning. Centrally positioned to visit most places on Angelsey. Pub, serving food, within a mile. Will definitely return to this little gem of a site.

Just lovely

Cefn Farm
What a find.  A little hidden gem with the most amazing views.  A proper CL with a field, water tap, and basic but clean loo.  Rob and his father Robert gave us the warmest of welcomes.  We would echo all the postive points that the previous reviewer has left and add that elctrics are now up and running and very reliable. We loved staying at Cefn Farm.  This is a CL with heart. The view is stunning.  Everything is very laid back and calm.  What more could anyone want.  Our dog is going to miss his little girlfriend Lexie the cattle dog and we are going to miss the views from our caravan window.

Superb views, quieter than I expected

Cefn Farm
Stayed here after visit to Plas Newydd (NT)  as we didn't need electric. From map looked too near to A55 but the road is in a cutting and away from prevailing wind. Wonderful view of Snowdonia, all they way round from Great Orme to Llyn peninsular. Basic amenities on nearly flat field, just like CL's used to be before most developed into mini 'clubsites'. Great value for money. Friendly young owner told me the site has been in same family for 3 generations. Also has fresh eggs from there own free range hens.
