Why stay here ...

Plas Carw is the perfect place to unwind, recharge your batteries and reconnect with nature. An ideal base with so many beaches, woodlands and exciting locations within easy reach, you can find the perfect day out. Relax with the family, or take time out with friends. The CL is situated on a small holding surrounded by fields and wildlife, looking out over beautiful scenery.

The CL is located in the hills just behind Abergele, just off the main road between Abergele and Llanfair TH. The site which has well cut grass is in a very pleasant spot. Adjacent to the CL is a fenced off area with a pond full of carp and other beautiful fish, natural planting and picnic benches. This area is ideal for afternoon sandwiches and a glass of wine as you take time to relax. For the safety of children this area is fenced off, lifebelts are in position in case of an emergency.

A short drive will take you to the town of Abergele which is midway between Rhyl and Llandudno. This part of the coast is ideal for families as the children can play on the beaches and play sports to burn off their excess energy.

For shopping, Llandudno is difficult to beat. The classic architecture of the town, the Great Orme and the old tramway make this an ideal day out.

In the opposite direction, Llanrwst, and Betws Y Coed lead you into the spectacular Snowdonia National Park.

Sarah and Sean will be more than happy to provide you with information on walks, cycle rides and on tourist attractions within the area such as Manorafon Farm Park and Gwrych Castle, previously home to ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Both attractions being in Abergele.

Peaceful lovely setting ♥️

Plas Carw
Such a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful setting. Stayed at Plas Carw on four occasions in 2023 and can’t wait to return in 2024! The site is well maintained, well cut grass and clean wc facilities. Plenty of space to put up our awning and new elsan for toilet waste disposal. Park is a great location to visit all areas of North Wales. Easy communication with owners for bookings and information of the area. I highly recommend Plas Carw, you’ll probably find me with a glass of white wine, beside the pond with a book in my hand 😁

Pleasant site

Plas Carw
We arrived a little earlier than expected, easy to find and the owners were easily contacted and they came straight down to show us where we could pitch and where everything was. Lovely owners and the pitches are more than big enough. Seems like there is two seasonal caravans at the top of the field when we stayed but this was no bother. The only thing that let the site down was that the facilities for elson waste are not well kept or cleaned, it is a toilet in the field with a bucket of water to wash it down as there is no running water near the disposal to rinse. Would stay again but the price doesn't reflect the facilities unfortunately.

Pleasant, quiet site

Plas Carw
Couple in late 40's, motorhome just 6.4m Pleasant site, basic but nice and quiet. The owners seem very chilled and didn't mind when we turned up or left, within reason. Space for about 4-5 motorhomes/caravans. Single toilet (m/f) and washbasin. Only cold water, no drying facilities in the toilet and no shower. Clean & warm. Visited/stayed in early April 2022, £18. A little on the high side but a good all round experience (our first night in new MH). Wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Slight slope but chocks sorted that out.

On site fishing

Plas Carw
The site contains a very pretty ornamental small lake with koi, carp and goldfish in abundance, the owner allowed fishing on site from the start of 2017 for a small fee. Due to a few inconciderate fishermen and dead fish found after they left fishing has now been BANNED until further notice, the owner will supply pellets to sit and feed them and enjoy looking at them only.
