Lovely CL - Would highly recommend

Tydraw
We have been coming to this CL several times a year for many years and love it. The grass is kept short and doesn't get boggy when wet. The Toilet is kept very clean. Mr and Mrs Marvel are very friendly and accommodating. The only slight down side is that the pitches on one side have a poor tv reception. This site is a great base for visiting Usk, Monmouth, Abergavenny or the canal basin at Goytre. We will keep on coming back to this site, as us, friends and family love it.

Beautiful site, spoilt

Tydraw
On arrival site looked tidy & nice short grass. Went to pitch & noticed dog mess which having children decided to clear up. It became apparent the next day the owners allow their two dogs to use the site as their exercise/dog loo as we witnessed them fouling several times round ours & other people's caravans. We did tell the owner who apologised, cleaned the mess up & said she would stop the dogs coming into the field. Unfortunately she didn't do this, such a shame as a charming little site of which we will not be revisiting.

A tidy and pleasant site

Stayed on this site for three nights in July while visiting family in Wales. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great spot for exploring this beautiful area, would use this site again.

Nice Site but spoilt

Tydraw
We have just returned from this CL site. It is set in beautiful surroundings however we realise CL sites Are more relaxed but not to the extent of dogs roaming freely and fouling! We are not dog lovers and really objected to seeing dogs roaming around. On the Saturday evening 4 of the caravans had a party with a disco going. Yes a disco!! We had to ask them to turn the music down as it was spoiling our evening sat ouT taking in the lovely scenery.  In addition There were 6 tourers on the site. Always thought 5 was the limit!!  Our main gripe was that if the owners knew there was going to be a party they should have block booked the site for the party.  Not a major factor, but if you are into watching television, you cannot get a signal! Perhaps we were unlucky that there happened to be a party on, however fellow occupants should be a more considerate. We will not stay there again.
