Why stay here ...

LOW 10% refundable deposit plus FREE cancellations and FREE amendments*

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite is a pleasant and green location, with grass and hard standing pitches for your comfort. The caravan park is surrounded by statuesque mature trees, adding privacy to your stay whilst enhancing the area's natural beauty. Nearby Henley is said to date from the early twelfth century. It has many old and interesting buildings for you and your family to discover, and is the home of the famous Regatta in June and July. This is followed a week later by a popular music festival and traditional boat rally, which involves the odd wooden-built craft for a touch of nostalgia.

The ornate stone bridge that spans across the River Thames is a popular landmark for visitors to Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite. It dates from 1786, though there is evidence of an earlier bridge dating from as early as 1170. The town is easily reached from the caravan park and there are many antique shops, art galleries and charming boutiques for you to browse. Another fun excursion would be to take a leisurely boat ride on the lovely Thames, travelling as far afield as Marlow or even Maidenhead. The site is well placed to visit some very interesting places including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and the city of London. Legoland, approximately 15 miles drive from the site, is a great fun day out for children.

Directions

From the East take the M4 junction 8/9 onto the A404 and then take the A4130. Cross river bridge into Henley-on-Thames. At the third set of traffic lights (including pedestrian crossing) turn right into road signposted Marlow, Oxford. In 0.25 mile at mini roundabout fork right onto A4155 (signposted Marlow). The site is on the left in about 0.5 mile (500 yards past entrance to Swiss Farm Caravan Site). From the M40: leave at junction 4 onto A404. We recommend not using junction 5 or 6 of the M40, as routes include single-track lanes and steep hills. Turn onto the A4155 (signposted Marlow, Henley). The site is on the right about 7 miles past Marlow (0.5 miles past Toad Hall Garden Centre). Please note, those who do not know the town well are advised not to drive or tow through Reading.

Nice site

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite
This is our second visit to the site and you always receive a warm welcome and checking is never a problem if you arrive after 1pm Reading a few reviews earlier i see road noise seem to crop up in a few reviews which is not the wardens or the mcc problem yes it is annoying and the condition of the road surface is not helping anyway back to the site review showers/toilets are good and the water is hot, I think the main normal waste collection area is a good idea which a few sites need to have a look at going. Henley is a good 20min walk away down the busy noisy road away just watch the pavement width with it being overgrown its only half the width and very close to traffic if you have kids in tow. We used the train to travel to London Paddington 21quid return day saver and took about 35 mins. So the round off a good site park away from the road and stop moaning life's to short.

Super site

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite
We have just spent five nights on the Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite. I read the reviews before booking so I was expecting some noise, however the noise stopped at night and we both slept well. (We have an Eriba with a canvas pop top so the noise could have been worse for us!) The positives on the site were numerous, friendly, helpful, hardworking wardens. Very clean shower blocks with plenty of hot water. A small shop ,selling basics and newspapers. Spacious, well marked plots, a playground for children, parking for visitors, Henley in walking distance. A bus stop near by. We would very happily return to this site again so "Thank you" to the Wardens for your hard work.

Too Noisy

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite
Whilst this is a lovely clean site, with good sized pitches and excellent facilities. (The showers are really hot). The site is also only a stroll away from Henley on Thames, no need to move the car. But you cannot get away from the fact that the site is running alongside the A4155. This is a very busy road and has cars and motorbikes racing at top speed all day and a lot of the night. It is near impossible to block out the sound. This ruins a lovely site and stay. Whilst the wardens did offer to move us, the site is not big enough to get away from the sound.

Great site but noisy!

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite
Good location and only a 15-20min walk in to Henley. Lots for pubs and restaurants. We had lunch in the Angel on the Bridge - great food and dog friendly. Wardens were very friendly and gave our dogs lots of treats! Weird motorhome service point where you have to lift the manhole cover and try to position you outlet pipe into it. Only downside was the road noise, which was pretty much all the time.
