Set in 22 acres of Devon countryside and close to the beach, Hillhead Club Site offers some of the finest facilities in the network. As well as this, the caravan site is set in a fantastic location with a large number of pitches offering stunning views of the sea and surrounding coastlines. There is plenty of entertainment for both the young and old with an outdoor heated swimming pool and children's pool (Jun - Sept), playground, play area and an indoor complex housing a games room, shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway service for all the conveniences you could want. Hillhead Club Site also hosts a varied selection of evening entertainment and themed events, especially during peak season.
For those wanting to explore further afield there are miles of sandy beaches, an 18-hole golf course, pitch and putt, tennis, fishing, sailing, steam railway trips and a zoo, all within easy reach. If you fancy a spot of shopping, the busy town of Brixham is less than two miles away, Paignton and Torquay are nearby and the ferry across to the pretty harbour of Dartmouth is only a 5 minute drive from the site. For walkers, a lovely stroll along the cliffs takes you to down to sandy beach at Broadsands.
The site received a fantastic new playground as well as improvements to the pavements around the covered courtyard area near the entertainment complex as part of a recent refurbishment.

This seven mile former Great Western Railway branch line, built in 1872, runs along the stunning valley of the River Dart between Buckfastleigh and Totnes. The steam trains offer wonderful all day, all weather attraction for people of all ages.

From North on A380: foll signposts Paignton, Brixham. In 4.5 miles at traffic lights continue onto A3022 (signposted Brixham). In 2 miles at traffic lights turn right onto A379 (signposted Dartmouth, Brixham). In 0.75 mile (just past Churston Golf Course and immediately past Ford garage) turn right onto A379 (signposted Dartmouth, Kingswear). In 2 miles at mini roundabout turn right and immediately fork left onto B3205 (signposted Kingswear, Dartmouth via Lower Ferry). The Site entrance is 2nd on the left within 0.25 miles (please note: Penn Hill is access only and there is no space for turning).

SHOP
The shop sells a wide range of daily papers, milk, bread, fresh dairy products, groceries, Ice creams, Toiletries and an extensive choice of Caravan and camping spares and accessories.
SWIMMING POOL
A lifeguard will be on duty when the pool is in operation. The pool normally will be open from 10:00 - 18:00. Please check with the wardens on site for exact opening times when you arrive on site. It may be necessary to run timed session at busy periods.
Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
BAR
On Christmas Day and New Years Eve, the complex is restricted to ticket holders only.

Will definitely return..... fantastic site
This was our first time at Hillhead and we all really enjoyed it. The site is lovely and kept really clean and tidy. Toilets and showers were immaculate at all times and we were all really impressed with the site in general. We will definitely be returning probably in the summer months as my daughter was really disappointed that the pool wasn’t open (we visited in april). Staff were fantastic and staying an extra night due to the weather forecast was not a problem at all
Great site but £35 a night?
Usual good experience at excellent site. Good access to buses outside gate. Lots of great pubs and eateries in Brixham and great coast walks.
The only negative was the cost had doubled since our last stay in November presumably to pick up on people wanting to tag on holiday to Easter. Result a virtually empty site.
Not impressed!
Always good to stay here
We tend to return to Hillhead once or twice each year. We have a 7.6m motorhome so we tend to use the excellent bus service or walk to visit various attractions each day. We spend a lot of time in Dartmouth and usually take a walk to Dartmouth Castle. Unfortunately, we found that the cafe there was only open Friday to Monday this time of year. However, the excellent Smith Street Deli proved worth a visit on our return to Dartmouth.
We managed to get a pitch on "Millionairs Row" (top of the site with the best view) for the first time ever. Well worth the wait - but not if it is very windy. Facilities clean and the staff were helpful. I was told that there are 6 miles of hedges to cut so that must keep them busy.
Great Site & Friendly Staff
I was almost put off staying at this site because of reviews about miserable staff (or atleast one). Nothing could be further from the truth. I was given a warm welcome & advice on bus timetables. There are some great views from certain pitches if you are lucky to get there when it's quiet. We went in March mid-week. There is a bus-stop right outside. It might be worth buying an all day ticket depending on where you are going. We went to Dartmouth & Brixham in one day. The bar/restaurant was closed as it was out of season so might be worth checking when you book. A lot of the pitches had hedges in between to give you added privacy.
Fabulous Hillhead
We love this site, and we visit at least 3 times per year at different times, we have just spent 5 fabulous nights here over new year and loved every minute we would highly recommend it has great facilities the club house is great and only a stones throw away from Brixham Harbour 😁
