Why stay here ...

A pleasant, open and level site bordered by oak trees, Chester Fairoaks Club Site is conveniently placed just off the M53 gateway to North Wales and close to the delightful walled city of Chester. The caravan site is also close to a lovely canal walkway, a local swimming pool, and has two pubs and shops just a short walk away.

Take in the sights while relaxing in an open top bus or wander around The Walls to absorb the colourful atmosphere. Immerse yourself in some history and tradition by seeing the town crier, the incredible 900-year old Cathedral and the Roman Amphitheatre. 1 night Stopover. First visit

Just a quick stopover. Good location. Short walk to Cheshire oaks shopping mall and sainsburys and good walking access to a number of pubs and restaurants. The road from the site to the main road didn’t feel very safe at night though as there is no footpath. Would go back. I used to live in the area so I know there is a lot to do nearby. Didn’t use any public transport while there but did walk to the shopping centre.

ChestervFairoaks.

Just got back from 6 nights at Chester Fairoaks. Campsite was clean and facilities spotless. We found it a bit noisy with two major motorways close by. At night, the lighting was very poor making the road humps a trip hazard. Rake lane has no footpath, so if like us you like walking, you have to be very carefull due to traffic. The Rake pub serves a very good choice of beers and lagers but the food is typical fast, or junk food.

Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed for six nights over the New Year with our two sons (5 and 8) and we all had fantastic time. Wardens were friendly and welcoming from arrival, and even threw a New Years Eve buffet and get-together which was great. Well maintained site in a fantastic location, with loads of attractions nearby, not to mention several pubs (which do discount for members if you ask!).
