Why stay here ...

Hebden Bridge Club site has opened following redevelopment. You’ll receive a warm welcome at the new reception, and can choose from more all-weather pitches - 6 of which will be fully serviced.

Hebden Bridge Club Site is a pretty and tranquil caravanning destination in West Yorkshire. Tucked neatly away from the road and on a gentle slope which is terraced for level pitching, the beautifully-kept caravan park is enhanced by stately trees and a bordering stream, adding a lovely rural feel to your surroundings.

The site is conveniently close to Hebden Bridge itself, which offers the opportunity for you to treat yourself to some traditional Yorkshire products from the Victorian style shops or the local craft centre. The caravan park also gives you easy access to the famous Haworth Parsonage, where the legendary Bronte's lived and worked, and Heptonstall, a quaint village of cobbled streets and with beautiful views. If you enjoy walking, the Moors, the Pennine Way and Hardcastle Crags are nearby - each delivering breathtaking scenery. If you prefer a more relaxed stroll, there are many more leisurely walks to be had, three of which are local to the area, and good dog walks can be found nearby.

Please note: This site does not have a toilet block.

I return here often

We visited at the end of July/beginning of August. We like this site a lot and come often. It's a small compact site in Cragg Vale. Sandwiched between the road and a river in a steep sided valley , which is very characteristic of this area of Calderdale. Public footpaths abound but be prepared for some stiff climbs on them up onto the hills out of the valley bottoms. It's nearest to Mytholmroyd. Hebden bridge is a good walk up the valley. Hebden is a popular place, quirky and characterful, but as it is lying in a very steep valley, parking and vehicular access is at a premium. Luckily there's a good bus service to it from the site gate and a good rail link through the Calder valley from Mytholmroyd to Hebden Bridge ,Halifax and Bradford. No toilet block, long may it stay that way. The service pitches are a welcome addition and helpful to those of us that struggle to lug water back and forth. The long grass was a precaution to stop lazy campers walking between the pitches to the service point. A necessary precaution for Covid Social Distancing. In normal times it is mown and kept tidy. I quite liked it long as the wildflowers had chance to bloom. . My only gripe and therefore the loss of a star, is the condition of the site access roads. Some nasty potholes can catch you unawares and shake your unit up badly if you're not careful. The pitches close to the road can be noisy from the traffic and many of these have quite a slope too. The rest of the site level spacious is fairly tranquil. (So long as the inevitable yapping doggies behave !). Phone and data signal for 3 is good. Service pitches have TV hook up. It's a little gem in a cracking area. We will be back.

Long seeded grass between pitches

The long seeded grass between the pitches was not CAMC standard and did not give a good first impression of the site.As they are normally well manicured sites. I was advised that this was to stop people taking a shortcut a cross pitches. Is this now a new policy for the club ?

For us this is the perfect site

Just returned from the site. For us this is the perfect site. No toilet block, small and located on the edge of a town. As is usual all was well managed and organised. Hebdon Bridge is a lovely town to visit and just a stroll along the tow path. Not sure about the vat reduction. It now should be 5% it appears that the club is only reducing the vat by 12.5%. The Club has over 900 staff and an annual turnover of over £100 million. They really should be able to calculate the reduction accurately.

An excellent site

This was the first site we have ever visited as my wife and I begin our motorhome adventures. We have since stayed at several more sites. I would like to say that the wardens at this site, knowing I was new to the whole business of touring in a motorhome, gave me an extraordinary amount of help and advice. They were delightful. The site was wonderful, clean and everything was explained to me clearly and sensibly. We would have like to stay longer and explore a little more but time and tide...... We will return!
