Penrhos Club Campsite provides the perfect getaway for the whole family with a range of activities and attractions to keep all ages entertained. Not only can you see the fabulous Snowdonia from the caravan site, the sandy beaches provide space and tranquillity. What's more they're only five minutes drive away.

Of course, a visit to Penrhos Club Campsite would not be complete without a trek to Snowdon's rack and pinion mountain railway. This is a must for railway enthusiasts both young and old if only for the breathtaking views encountered during the journey. The site is located in Benllech, where the landscape is truly a sight to behold as Holyhead Mountain forms part of a natural paradise with wild flowers and sea birds. This scenery is beautifully rounded off with a memorable vista over the Irish Sea. Close to the caravan park is nearby Beaumaris and its castle explains Anglesey's historic importance from the days of Edward I.

Site facilities include a dog walk, a lending library and a children’s play area for ball games.

Immaculate site

Penrhos Club Campsite
This is the best site I have stayed at. The facilities were immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. A peaceful site in a great location for exploring Anglesey. I will definitely visit again.

Lovely site, planning to return next year

Penrhos Club Campsite
A lovely site and a great base to visit the rest of Anglesey. Staff were friendly and helful, site is spotless as was the toilet block. Not a huge site and only one toilet block but it never seemed to get busy and I never had to queue for a shower cubicle. Look out for the red squirrels on site, a real treat especially if you've not seen one before! Kids were impressed with the play area and made many friends despite only being there for 3 nights. Only 10 minutes drive from Benllech which has a Tesco Express, various takeaways and a lovely beach. Have booked again for next year so a sure sign of a decent site.

Lovely site with friendly site managers

Penrhos Club Campsite
We had 6 nights on this site and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little hidden jewel! The site was clean and well presented. The facilities spotless too. The site staff was friendly and happy to pass a few minutes with you as they passed during their duties. Our dogs loved it as there is a secure dog run, so they could burn off some excess energy before settling down for the evening. The site is well placed to explore both Anglesey and the mainland too. Llandudno, Bangor and Conwy are close by as well and Caernarfon with its amazing castle and the Welsh Highland Railway. We cannot wait to return to explore more !

Lovely little site

Penrhos Club Campsite
This is a great site, ideal for a base to explore Anglesey for a few days. We originally had 3 different sites booked around Anglesey over 3 nights, and ended up returning to Penrhos on the third night as the campsite we had originally booked was a bit like being in a sardine tin. Having stayed at Penrhos 2 nights prior, it was a no-brainer to head straight back for a much more peaceful evening! This is an ideal site for families too, there is a nice open space at one side which leads through the hedge to another field with a dedicated play park, which seemed very popular! We would definitely stay here again on a future Wales roadtrip.

A cracking site

Penrhos Club Campsite
Stayed here for 4 nights, such lovely, friendly and welcoming staff especially Eric. Hardstanding pitches are generous in their size and well kept, and the facilities are the new CMC standard, so excellent and always clean. Free Wifi okish, however we found the TV signal very hit and miss depending on which weather turns up during the day. Nice pub approx 20m walk away in Brynteg, the California Inn, nearest decent shop is in Benllech. As others have said, having a form of transport off site means you can make the most of visiting places on the island. We cycled to Plas Newydd (NT), and walked to Benllech and Red Wharf Bay where we found a lovely pub, The Ship Inn. Site was quiet, and on clear nights, the sky was amazing
