Our membership is up for renewal soon I just cannot see the point in doing it at this point in time. The last time we were away on a site was September and at this time we do not know when the next time will be.Any one got any thoughts on this ?

One major difference is the arrival -   CAMC units race around the site to try and "bag" the best pitch ( normally on the second lap) whereas CCC arrivals are controlled by the speed of the site managers bike.  laughing

I think LLM was asking about any differences between the people who use the sites, Mikey. That's dodgy ground, I say😉

LLM was hoping to hear from Cornersteady his perceived differences between CAMC and C&CC campers?

TW, you only have to look at the size of the units on both sites. I'm not saying what it says about the types of people, it may simply be a reflection of the age of the members.

I think it's LLM who's interested, Mikey, rather than me. 👍🏻

A tent.  Is that it.  Is that all.  So no difference really?

yes there is.....with tenters you tend to get younger families with children, and a tenting community are normally much more sociable than those who lock themselves away in the white box and watch telly.

But seriously some years ago my daughter and SIL bought a caravan and joined CAMC, and there reaction OMG, never again and left after 12 months, mind you they never joined the CCC either, you can think about the OMG reaction and form your own conclusions, clue, they did have 3 young children.laughing
