OK folks I must be thick.

Do we only send page 2 of the V5?  I can get that to about 1Mb..

What is BRAND?

Is the Club going to provide members with some help / guidance - I booked through them after all!

You send page 2 of your V5 that is the one with all the vehicle details on.  If you scan it in black and white it will be within the size they want.  I just put 'Volkswagen' in one box and 'Tiguan' in the other any other info they can gleam from the V5.  Anyway, mine was accepted and I have my sticker.  It wasn't complex.

Do you have the opportunity to use a save as function on your device. If its a PC/Laptop save as under a different name to the desktop and that will reduce the size of the photo, got mine down to about 200kb using that method.

On your last point, where does the Club stop? Surely one purpose of this forum is to provide that sort of help?

Having sent a second query, in French this time I did get a reply but it was a lift from their web site not an answer to my question relating specifically to me. They did say if I needed more information I would need to reply with my V5 again, so I suspect they did not have access to my original application.

I am hopeful they can confirm what class a motorhome fits into as they have allocated me a class 4 disc, for a coach, but when I read their website it seems to tell me I am a class 3.

I see the Club staff seem to be monitoring this, if so why hasn't the Club found out such information and variables specific to a significant number of our membership and posted them for all to see. On the web site there is no category for a motorhome anywhere.

Just received a second email from them today, in French of course, but at least it was a quick reply. Whilst the reply was very brief and did not explain why my vehicle was classed as a disc 4 rather than a disc 3 they did say that given the information provided ( V5 & Cert of Conformity for my Euro 4 engine in a 2012 registered vehicle) I have the correct disc. A class 4 not the 3 I thought is was. I can only assume that in the absence of a class of vehicle for motorhomes it goes purely on weight and not engine emission's, which seems a little contrary to the purpose of this, and as we are over 3.5t (4.005t) we are classed along with everything else over that weight. So a 32t lorry is the same as mine with the same engine emission class.

Still not convinced this is absolutely their intention but it appears this is the case. It would have been really nice for the reply to explain this, particularly as I asked, in French, to do this if my class was correct at a 4.

Hope this will make it clear for others with a similar weight vehicle. I can fix it to my screen now.

Regards, Roy

OH had already scanned the V5 into his documents so I copied it to a word document, changed it to black/white and reduced it, I then saved it as PDF.  Alternative method, sounds fiddly but it worked.  Sent off today and have had email confirmation.

Have now submitted a request and received a confirmation in French. However the process was tortuous. Initial request to CC via chat confirmed that this is not a scam, and provided a link in the CC website, which I found unhelpful. BRAND is the marque of vehicle, mine is Fiat. I had to search the Fiat website to find which Euro emissions category my 2014 2.3 Diesel Ducato was, and concluded Euro 5 was the correct one. Regarding the registration document I had to adjust my scanner to 100 dpi to get the document under 400 Kb.

i feel that the information on the CC could be greatly improved.

A bientôt

Ordered my sticker last week and it arrived within 6 days. As we are doing a fair bit of wandering this year I figured 4.80 euros was better than 117 euro fine and my good lady has mentioned Versailles.

Having ordered it I received a follow up email with a pdf of the order and copy of the sticker. Excellent service.

Like BigA I ordered and received mine very promptly.  I don't tend to visit cities but looking at the list of towns considering the restriction and that the sticker lasts for the life of the vehicle then I thought it well worth it for the future.
