Caravan club Wi-Fi is rubbish

When will the club get the Wi-Fi sorted? Once again I have purchased time and am finding it impossible to log out of one device to use another. What is all this log out nonsense? Surely you should be able to just disconnect on one device and then connect on another. I keep wasting expensive minutes trying to log out.

So, I've just finished web browsing then put in logout.net in my browser and logged out. Took all of 25 seconds. Two minutes later I'm logged in on another device.

Wasting expensive minutes? Really?

It’s a while since we’ve subscribed, but I do remember if I just closed my pad, rather than  log off as JK states above. If  I tried on my phone some time later, it would say I was already logged in on another device. I would then have to go on the pad, log in again although it reckoned I was still logged in, then come out properly as JK. It would then let me on the phone.

A scenario similar to mine, is perhaps leading to the OP’s confusion. Although you can not  waste minutes, as access is unlimited for the period you have paid for.

I agree completely with AJ - it’s a rubbish arrangement. It’s easier to have the “new” user asked if they want to logout the previous machine. This has worked well when we have encountered  it. saves having to switch the first device back on when the user has not logged out.

Wow! πŸ˜‚

With data being as cheap as chips these days, it makes sense to me. The only drawback is if you end up on a site with no mobi signal but they’re few and far between.

I was on a site recently which was silver? the service was worse than a hotspot!! I spoke to some site staff as one would expect. and was told it had been rubbish most of the year.

I did as advised and contacted Air Angel. ;by email and got a quick response ,

I was then berated by the site manager for doing so, as she said when our site is full ,some people use equipment to stream,?

When I pointed out the site was not full?  as out of the 83? pitches, the 41grass pitches were not in use , which did not seem to compute, so I  think Air Angel were given wrong info by one of the site staffsurprised

If that happens at other sites,  then Air Angel will not get correct info to work on?frown
