so they all wanted EHU? You pay extra for that on a CCC site?

Posted on 20/06/2018 16:08

Ehu, grass hardstanding are all optional and bookable 😉

only if you feel like it.....

without EHU the pitches are considerably cheaper and are a popular option in summer when it's not needed...(by those who don't plug in,obviously.....)

well but from my limited time on a CCC site and by what others have said on here, most if not all vans go for EHU even in our hot summer nights?

Got to power that awning heater somehow?

And long may choice remain so. Cambridge C&CC is £5p.n cheaper than Cherry Hinton for hard standing and 16 amp EHU.  Many of the non electric pitches are in use and  not by tents either.

Where did you read that, BB? undecided

Posted on 21/06/2018 09:16

I'm fairly sure it's been mentioned on CT, usually every time a midly critical thread comes up......?

doesnt it go something like......'well, CC must be doing something right as you can't get on their sites'.......or some other similar phrase...

...however, I don't expect you toe remember M despite being one who might just post thus......

along with the regulars.....wink

I don't think I've ever claimed that CAMC sites are permanently full, BB. Perhaps you could dig a bit further into the archives and find any post where I've ever said, or implied that. Still, why let the facts get in the way of a good soundbite? undecided

PS - to help you out a bit, don't bother looking because you won't find anything. frown

PS - to help you further,  what I have said is that CAMC sites, when we use them (which is less than 50% of the time)  suit us just right for location, facilities and cost. What I don't do is constantly complain about how inferior and expensive they are compared to "vastly superior" sites and then pay to use them in high season (£33 a night, was it? Strewth, you were well and truly done, mate!) innocent
