As they are advertising I’d thought I’d get some BUT chose not to as they only post them & charge £2;50 -WHY? - Just a thought as this is How to make caravanning cheaper why are they not e-vouchers - like every where else - come on Club!

Indeed. If I was intending to use them after 2021, I would want to have some correspondence from someone in authority, stating what has been said above. Not sure I would just trust an email from the membership team.

There is a statement to that effect on the Buy Vouchers page.

Do the UK Club Site Vouchers have an expiry date?

All orders up to and including 28 April 2020 will receive vouchers with no expiry date. All orders from 29 April 2020 onwards will receive vouchers valid until 31st December 2021, giving you a clear 18 months+ to enable you to use the vouchers.

A clear 18 months (not 18 months+ at all) only if club sites are able to open on 1st July.

If nothing else, the retrospectively applied expiry date is a little mean spirited. December 2022 would have been more reasonable, giving folk 2 whole summers (hopefully) to redeem their vouchers.

I agree the likelihood of all sites being open any time soon greatly reduces the time and choice left to use the vouchers. Those who've bought date stamped vouchers could be seriously disadvantaged.

The club will probably have to make a further announcement which would not have needed with the original offer.

Personally I think the club have shot themselves in the foot. I won't be buying any now and several members in a similar age group / state of retirement have indicated the same. Even less likely one might think, that those who are working and don't know if they will have a job, let alone holiday, are going to commit to such a time limited offer.

Of course perhaps that is the point, rather than just saying they are no longer available.🤔

Why are they "slipping it in"? Why no announcement?

I know this may be hard to believe but not all members read CT. Shocking I know but it is what it is. So there may well be Club Members out there who will be buying these on the belief that No expiry date still exists. Why not put it on the front of the website?

What are they doing about giving Change as this was an original T&C?Will they also honour that?

A(nother) PR disaster.
