Beautiful CL with plenty of space.
This is a beautiful CL set in the Essex countryside and 'Spacious' simply is inadequate to describe it. We have never seen a CL with this much open space for 5 pitches and there are multiple EH connections thereby giving lot of choice where to site your caravan/motorhome. The single photo on the CMT site doesn't really do justice to the amount of space available. (I'll send the owner some of my photos).
It has to be said that Stanstead airport is about 10 miles away and there is some aircraft noise at the site but distant enough not to be intrusive.
Facilities are good and clean but the toilet, shower and information room all share the same single room - during our stay with all five pitches occupied we never once failed to have use of the toilet or shower when desired. The shower itself is enormous.
Care needs to be taken between the B184 and Abbess Roding village as either road is narrow but School Lane (preferred route) does have fairly good visibility and passing places.
