Very peaceful and lovely location

We had a very lovely time at this CL. It is peaceful and tranquil with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside and a very lovely garden and dog walk. Colin and Sue could not be more friendly and helpful and we will definitely return. Rowenna and Bruce

Lovely quiet site with a hidden gem

Stayed here while attending the club towing course, it's ideally placed for that. This is the most quietest site we've ever stayed on and we enjoyed every minute of it. The owners are a lovely couple and always had time for a chat when out and about. The dog walk is accessed through a field of sheep, so the dog was on a lead all the time. Once through that field the true dog walk starts. Three or four small lakes have been created with lovely flowers planted all around. There are places to sit and watch the world go by. Just a pity that I can't upload any photos to this site. Went for a drink and a meal at the Who'd of thought it pub, which is dog friendly and that was very nice. It's only a ten minute drive as you head towards Cotehele House. We'll be staying at this site again, once the weather warms up.

Lovely rural site

This is a beautifully managed site, quiet, clean and tidy with everything we needed. The owners are very friendly, helpful people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Have been here twice and have booked more visits. A lovely rural site with well spaced pitches and wonderful views, would highly recommend.

Grand quiet rural site

The site lies 3/4 ml along a country lane off the A388 about 3/4 of the way from Saltash to Callington. The pitches are level with the choice of level 3 hardstanding and 3 grass. 1-3 are on the upper level, one of which is Hardstanding, south-facing with a high hedge at the rear. The other two H/S pitches and one grass are down a slope and west-facing with trees and bushes to the rear. There's a dog-walk down to some lakes through fields of sheep, although the lane past the site is quiet enough for walking ones dog too. The small town of Callington is a couple of miles away with a Tesco supermarket and collection of high-street shops. Saltash has a Lidl and a Waitrose and Liskeard, about 8 miles away, has a Morrisons and an Aldi and many more shops. The Tamar Valley, Cotehele and Antony (both National Trust properties) and Mount Edgcumbe are nearby, as is Kit Hill Country Park and also Minions with the Cheesewring outcrop, great for walks among tin mine country. Be aware you have to pay a toll to cross the Tamar Bridge going eastwards out of Cornwall but not coming westwards into the county from Devon. There are a couple of regular bus services on the A388 between Launceston to Plymouth, but involves a walk of about a mile to the bus stop. The approach to the site with one's unit should only be as directed in the Site Directory or web pages. There is a large caravan/ MH storage area on the farm so there may be the possibility of encountering outfits heading out, especially during the holiday seasons. We will certainly use this site again if visiting this area.

Great site on a south-facing hill in rural east Cornwall

Great site on the side of a hill facing south. The friendly owner greeted us when we arrived and helped us choose our pitch. The pitches are level with 2 hardstanding and 3 grass. 1-3 are on the upper level, south-facing with a "Cornwall Hedge" at the rear. The other two are down a slope and west-facing with trees and bushes to the rear alongside a rivulet and small waterfall. There's a dog-walk down to some lakes through fields of sheep. Friendly owner who greeted when we arrived. The small town of Callington is a couple of miles away with a Tesco supermarket and collection of high-street shops. Liskeard about 8 miles away has a Morrisons and an Aldi and many more shops. The Tamar Valley and several National Trust properties are nearby. Be aware you have to pay a toll to cross the Tamar Bridge going eastwards out of Cornwall but not coming westwards into the county from Devon. Recommended and will visit again.

A perfect CL

We are almost at the end of our 9 night stay on this lovely site and will be sad to leave. It is immaculately kept by the very pleasant owners , who are so welcoming and friendly. The beautiful woodlands and lakes which the owners have developed over many years are wonderful . We spent time there every day with our dog admiring the flowers and watching the numerous birds. The site is so quiet and peaceful, the caravans well spaced out to give privacy .Can honestly say this is one of the best CL sites we have stayed on in over 30 years.
