CL Perfection

I chose this site due to its proximity to Coldingham where I had purchased an awning for my unit on Ebay. Wow what a stroke of luck! This is one of those gems that you feel that you want to keep to yourself but that would be unfair to the owners who have gone out of their way to create a beautiful CL in a stunning location with outstanding views and with superb amenities .

Great stay

Brilliant CL site. Everything you need. Clean tidy and close to beach and local pub.

Cracking Gem of a CL

I can only agree with all the positive reviews leftr by others. We have used this CL twice within a month for 3 days each time enroute North and it will be our first choice again.

Probably the best CL

The site has very large individual plots with their own electricity, water and grey water disposal points. There is a beautiful view from all plots over fields towards Coldingham and the sea. The Free Wi-Fi has excellent speed. Hedging has recently been planted between each plot, when matured, they will offer an extra degree of privacy. The access into the site and to the plots is very easy. This site is on a working farm and we were offered a tour of the farm, unfortunately we were not available to take this up this time. We will do when we go again; which we hope to do when we can. Booking was very easy using their website, it is a shame other CLs don't follow this practice. As said in the title 'Probably the best CL' it is definitely the best we have visited.

First time there but not the last

Ease of access from A1 to the site, on arrival both entry onto the approach road and the actual site no problems even with a twin axle. Each pitch has a wonderful view right to the sea over open farmland, and have an individual electrical hook up, fresh water point, and a grey water drain. A very relaxing 3 night stay. Very good site with views of the sea

This is a very well presented site high on a hill overlooking the sea with plenty of walking available. Pitches are generous and the site is kept very tidy. The New Inn in the village is a walk away and serves good food. This is the first time we have seen an electric car charging point on a certified site. Close to the A1 and easy to find, we would come again.

First time visiting

This was our first time of visiting and we were very impressed with the site. A lovely welcome from Al who gave us lots of useful information on the site and the local area. As this site is open all year we will definitely be returning. It is everything that a site should have, easy access beautiful views and a lovely quiet relaxing atmosphere. I would like to thank Al our host for making us feel so welcome. We will be returning over and over again I am sure, many thanks again Peter and Mary Brotherston

Excellent

Very much enjoyed our stay here. The site is easily accessible from the A1 and is in a very peaceful location with wonderful views. The serviced pitches are great, the site is very clean and it is obvious that money has been invested to help it become a great mature site. The (free) wifi here is quicker than at home! Would definitely stay here again!

Great CL, amongst beautiful countryside

A lovely site with wonderful views of the sounding countryside and the sea beyond Coldingham bay. I didn’t read my book as much as I would like because I couldn’t stop admiring the view. Pitches are large, with lots of space between vans and they are serviced which is very welcome with a large family. Also great WiFi. Hard standing throughout, so this will become our go to all year round site. Swimming and surfing in the near by Coldingham Bay is fantastic. Berwick only a short 15 mins drive to stock up on provisions. We will be back regularly. Lovely welcome from the owner Al. This is a gem in the CL network,

Thank you for a lovely weekend. This was our second visit. As expected we were made to feel welcome. Check in was easy. Facilities clean and tidy. Very peaceful site. Neighbours were friendly. The views from our pitch over the countryside towards the sea were fantastic. The surrounding countryside and beaches well worth exploring. Will be visiting again.
