Great site close to Coldingham and St Abb’s

Lovely spot, great sea views, well laid out and well maintained. More than merits its 5* reviews. The website info is honest and accurate. Look at it before arrival as it includes WiFi code and how to connect the electricity supply. EHU,fresh water and WiFi on every pitch. At the entrance is chemical toilet waste disposal, grey water waste, recycling and general waste bins, and even an EV charging point (7kW charger, honesty charge of 20p/kWh)! All well looked after, well kept. Within easy reach of Eyemouth, Berwick and Dunbar. Nearby is St Abb’s National Trust for Scotland Nature Reserve and the villages of St Abb’s, Coldingham and Coldingham Bay, with lovely walks on the edge of farmland, with marvellous sea cliffs and quiet beaches. It was a pleasure to stay there for a rather driech weekend in Feb, but we got out into the wilds and had a great stay. Thanks to Al and his efficient generously provided setup.

Great little site, Lovely views, Definitely will be back.

On arrival, my wife and I were very impressed, the site was very clean and well set out. The views are looking over countryside and the sea, best of both. My wife has difficulty walking and found the area to be easy to walk on and the dog exercise area was brilliant. The layout is very well presented, plenty of space on each pitch. The site will be even better in a couple of years when the hedging has matured. This will make the pitches more protected and private. You have a Great site here and we will definitely be back again. We could not fault it. PS. We ran a Caravan Park for 10 years and think you will do very well. Highly Recommended.

Scenic, spacious CL

We were impressed with this spot. Beautiful scenic views out to sea. Large, serviced pitches and easy access to the bins, grey and black waste. Handy spot being just off the A1 giving quick and easy access to most places in the area from Edinburgh to Berwick and beyond, as well as more local spots like St Abbs and Eyemouth. We have three dogs with us, so their favourite was the enclosed paddock on the site especially for them to run around in off leash! If only every site had one. If peaceful tranquility with sea views is your thing, we thoroughly recommend this spot. Easy to book, the owner messaged to check we were okay and offered assistance if needed. We'll certainly be back! Oh! And they even provided sunshine and blue skies most days too, at no extra cost!!

Excellent CL - perfect.....

This CL is excellent. We stayed 3 nights. Great location - we walked the 3 or 4 miles to Eyemouth and back along the cliffs one day and the next day the walked to St Abbs lighthouse. Coldingham is only a half mile down the road with 2 pubs, a spar and a butchers. Very peaceful site (we were the only ones on site - it was early January). Pitches very level and well spaced out all with sea views. Each pitch has it's own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal point.

Short break

Helpful friendly owners. Nice pitch. Good views and relatively dark night sky for good star gazing too.

Well designed site

This CL has been thoughtfully designed, with fully serviced pitches - fresh water, grey waste, EHU and fast WiFi. A small play area for dogs and a dog walk to Coldingham just before the site entrance means that dog owners will be happy with this site. Lovely views to the sea, which is about 2 miles away. Coldingham has several pubs serving food. We also had a spectacular sunset on our first night. We'll definitely use this site again.

Great CL with excellent facilities

This CL has brilliant, uninterrupted views of the countryside and sea in front. It's simple to book online, with an availability calendar. Paying balance on arrival was hassle free. The site is on a busy farm, so be prepared for regular farm traffic noise (tractors, HGVs etc) from behind during the day and into the early evening, but we didn't find this really that much of a problem and still had a very relaxing 4 night stay at Bee Edge. The wide, tarmacked approach road made accessing the site a breeze. Each pitch is a decent width and fairly level side to side. There's a wee bit of a slope front to back as the site is on a hill. Each pitch has decent, coarse aggregate hardstanding. 16 amp electric hook-up, fresh water and grey waste are on each pitch and this made the stay hassle free. We had trouble getting a good enough downward slope on our grey waste pipe, probably down to how we had positioned our caravan on the pitch, but emptying our wastemaster was a doddle. There's excellent free wifi (38 mbps down, 5 mbps up), and strong 4G mobile phone signal on O2. Coldingham village is a short 10 to 15 minute walk, and Eyemouth is a short drive away. This is a great CL, and we'll definitely return sometime soon.

A great deal of thought

A great deal of thought has obviously gone into the planning of this CL. Fully serviced pitches - including free wifi- well spaced with hedging planted ( but yet to mature) between each pitch, , which will provide good privacy in time. Beautiful views over corn fields to the sea; a manageable cycle ( we are in our 70s and use electric bikes) to the village and onwards to the beach and beautiful Abs Head. We appreciated an evening visit from the owner on our first night, just to check all was well. Our only criticism would be the speed of the farm traffic along the lane behind us, which started early and went on late, but of course it was harvest time and the site is in a lovely rural setting.
