A Really Lovely Place to Stay

This was out first visit to Bellfield Farm and it definitely won't be our last. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the site and Romney Marsh in general. Graham is a lovely man who went out of his way to help and welcome us. He is justifiably proud of his site and has obviously worked hard to achieve a high standard with excellent attention to detail. All of the pitches are very nice and have open views of the fields, escarpment and sheep and have fabulous sunsets. The uninterrupted horizons, clear air and lack of light pollution ensured wonderful night skies. I can only speak as I find and would definitely not describe the adjoining lane as 'busy': even during peak hours there was just the occasional vehicle or tractor. We were able to walk our dog on the lane and surrounding roads without problem (obviously on a lead and taking proper care). I accept that it must get busier during the main harvest time, but that is to be expected in a rural area. I also understand that there was a road diversion in place at the time of the visitors review which caused higher traffic levels than normal. I am very sensitive to noise of any kind when we go away (which is why we chose this site). I can't fault it on any level. You can even get a Sainsburys etc food shop delivered if you are so minded! Many thanks Graham for a lovely stay. See you again.
