Good basic site- easy access to York

Bleak House Farm is around 2 miles from the centre of York, on the edge of the village of Heslington, by York University. The site is very easy to access (better road access is through Fulford, off the A19, rather than the Hull Road). The site is peaceful, with minimal lighting (ideal for a good nights sleep!). Despite the wet weather, it was very easy to get on and off the pitch. Water and waste disposal well maintained and clean. Good site, and excellent value for money- and avoids the noise and bustle of the two CC sites in York! As long as you are self-sufficient (it appears generators are allowed at sensible hours for those that need them) then its a great site to pitch up at. Good bus links and cycle ways into the centre if you don't want to walk. Will visit again soon!
