Disappointing and listing mis-leading

We chose this site based on the reviews, the photo of the site in this page and the fact that the CC book said that it was 2ac. The whole field may well be 2 ac, but there is a double fence separating the 'wild flower meadow' from the smaller, mown area where the caravans are parked. I would imagine that manoeuvring would be difficult if the site were full. There were 2 bins, and 2 containers for recycling, both of which were full, with one overflowing. The water pipe is within a couple of feet of the rather foul chemical disposal. The caravan field is adjacent to the lane; not heavily used, but the traffic does go fast. Scenery was just the field, which was edged by trees. Toilet was across the field, along the lane that led to the site, across the garden, over the farmyard and there were 2 toilets on the left-hand side, in a field where 5 or 6 other caravans were parked. Loos themselves were clean, but the building was full of 8-legged monsters as would be expected for an out-house! We met the owner on the first evening. We had booked for the week, but explained that we would be leaving the next morning as we felt that the site did not meet our expectations. She tried to suggest that the 2ac listed in the book meant all the woodland (!), and the following morning stated that it was the wildflower meadow. I explained that we wanted space so that the boys could play without hitting caravans with a football, and she stated that we could have done if the sheep had not been in the meadow!!! We left early, and would not stay here again.
