A new favourite for our list, brilliant clean fully serviced site, just back from 4 nights there, would highly recommend this CL to everyone
Well worth a visit.
We had four nights at this site as part of our trip to Scotland, The site is very popular so would advise you make your bookings as early as possible we had to shuffle ours to make things fit.
We were met Jess soon after we arrived, we had previously ordered a variety of picnic foods from her other enterprise "The Very British Farmhouse Kitchen" which was delivered the next morning, it was very scrumptious, good value for money and you could tell it was fresh the sausage rolls were still warm.
The site is well maintained having the water to each plot is a bonus as well as having the other necessities near by added to the enjoyment. Cameron also came to see us just to make sure every thing was ok. We had a lovely walk around Brandon Lake Reserve lots of wildlife to see and just down the lane and across the river.
The area is full of places to visit we went to the Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick and my favourite Cragside.
It's lovely site I only wished we lived closer, if we are that way again that's where we well head for.
Lovely CL
Brandon Ford is a lovely CL, fully serviced pitches with hard standing. very quiet & peaceful at all times.
A credit to it's owners Cameron & Jess.
Perfect for walking
Love Northumberland and loved this site for its walking opportunities, right next to river Beamish and a nature reserve on your doorstep as well as many other footpaths.
A well maintained quiet Cl site with water and drainage to each pitch and the option to order goodies from the owner. 10/10 😀
Three days of snow
Spent three nights here. Excellent site for peace and tranquility. Weather was great if you like snow which I do. Watching the lambing in the next field and enjoyed the farm eggs and home made jam. Easy to visit the many tourist attractions Northumberland has to offer. Hope to return very soon.

Peaceful, immaculate, fully serviced pitch
We have been caravanning for over 25 years and this site is probably the best we have stayed at. The site is immaculately kept with spacious, fully serviced hard standing pitches - having individual electricity, water and waste all together is an absolute bonus. The recycling facilities are also excellent and kept very clean with separate bins for glass and cardboard/plastic which are regularly emptied, although we didn’t see or hear them ever being tidied during our 9 night stay. The area is peaceful and beautiful, a visit to The Bosk Restaurant (booking recommended) and the Ingram Cafe are a must - excellent food and very friendly. We visited Cragside National Trust (twice), Holy Island (twice) and the beautiful Breamish Valley. The dog walk straight from the site is really handy and leads straight to the Nature Reserve.
We thoroughly recommend the superb food from Very British Farmhouse Kitchen ….. thank you Jess - we ordered (twice) picnic food and treats, which were delivered directly to the ‘van - including the best Bakewell Tart, Lemon Drizzle Cake and Viennese Whirls ever…..
We are already looking at when we can book to return !
Quiet
One of the best CL sites we've stayed at. Individually serviced sites a real bonus. Great for walks. Good farming area. After a day's extremely heavy rain, the River Breamish was in full flow which was spectacular! Would like to visit again.
lovely peaceful site
Just love this site , everything a cl should be .So peaceful , great views just walking distance to ingram valley , cant wait to go back
Just great!
We have just returned from an 8 night stay at Brandon Ford, which is part of a 900 acre working farm. Very friendly owners and, even though they must be busy, are always ready for a chat and some useful information. The hardstanding pitches are fully serviced and the whole area of the CL is kept very tidy by Cameron. Very peaceful spot, no noise apart from occasional farm machinery and a few cows in the distance. There’s a convenience store and petrol station just under 2 miles away on the A697. A short walk across the river brings you to the Branton Lakes nature reserve, and you can hear the resident geese morning and evening. The Breamish valley is very attractive and the cafe in Ingram is very good too. It’s a great place for star watching with dark skies - we had an amazing view of the Milky Way one evening. Your own transport is probably required if you want to visit further afield. To top it all we were lucky enough to have marvellous weather too! Will we be back? Absolutely yes, already booked next year.
A SITE NOT TO BE MISSED
We have just spent 3 nights at this idyllic site (it was supposed to be 4 nights but a phone call from home meant we had to leave early). This site is a beautiful, extremely well kept site. Some people could be put off by it being on a working farm. Don't be. It is a beautifully quiet site, away from the farm buildings and the only farm noise we heard was the bleating of distant sheep. Whether you want to explore the Northumbrian countryside or coast or just chill out on the site this is the place for you. The River Breamish is about 200 yards away and a bridge takes you over the river to some woods which then leads to 2 lakes which you can easily walk around there is a cycleway and many hill walks too, a great place to take your dogs. The owners are unobtrusive but are easily contacted if necessary and they came to empty bins etc. at teatime everyday. My only suggestion of a slight improvement is a sign out on the road to direct you into the site. We nearly passed by but we noticed the roofs of caravans in the trees so we spotted it in time. All in all this is one of the best CLs we have seen and hope to be back again.
