Beautiful CL

Just stayed on this site for 8 nights to tour the coast. Beautifully kept CL with friendly and helpful hosts, Chris & Linda. Large grass pitch which is really well kept and level. Shower, toilet sink and washing up sink all in a shed and immaculately kept, and spotless. Books to borrow and DVD's and lots of information booklets. Toilet / waste disposal area very well maintained and recycling facility provided. The site is very peaceful. We watched deer, partridge and lots of pheasants wandering through, farm butchers 200yds away ( fantastic bacon and sausages!). A little road walk to get to a footpath and then it's a couple of miles walk to get onto a superb beach at Sea Palling. Lots of local places to visit. Recommend "The Star" pub at Lessingham for food, very friendly locals there too. Perfect CL with excellent hosts. The also have 2 cottages on site if family / friends wish to join you!

One of the Best

We had a lovely stay at Bridge House at the beginning of September. We were met by Chris on arrival who gave us the site information and was very helpful. The site is level and extremely well kept. The shower and toilet block were immaculate and cleaned every night without fail while we were there and were always clean and fresh. In the shower block was also a washing up area which also had lots of local information in with places to visit. The recycling area and waste disposal point was clean and tidy and well laid out. There are excellent views from the site across to the sand dunes. We visited Sea Palling which was only 2 miles away which has a lovely sandy beach. We also visited Wroxham and Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads both with easy parking. When we left Chris and Linda were there to say goodbye. We hope that we will be able to visit this site again, it is definitely top of our list in this area. Thank you.

Superb CL

Stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of September, and was hugely impressed by the site. It is a virtually flat field, with plenty of space for 5 vans. Plenty of shade round the edges, but also lots of sun during the day. The facilities are spotless, and there is a good amount of info in the building where the shower and toilet is situated. Very pleasant and helpful owners, who are able to impart their local knowledge. Lots to do in the area, especially if you like walking and cycling. Not that impressed by Sea Palling itself, but the beach is nice. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday in a lovely area.

Best CL we’ve been on

Have just returned from 3 days here and wish we had longer. Beautifully kept with spotlessly clean toilet and shower. Large field with views. Very quiet and peaceful as set well back from road. You do need a car to get anywhere as there are no footpaths from site or on road into Sea Palling. Beautiful Sandy beach there though and free car parking after 6pm if you want an evening walk. Nice places to visit nearby but again about a 20 -30 minute drive. We went to Howe Hill gardens, lovely walks and free entry and car parking (rare in Norfolk), Horning village- would recommend the Ferry Inn for sitting by the river watching the boats go by and a boat trip in Wroxham. Sad we had to leave a day earlier than planned but highly recommend this site and would definitely use it again. Best CL we’ve been on.

Fantastic 5CL with great hosts

We booked last minute to take advantage of the great weather. We found the site was excellent with really clean facilities. The hosts were extra welcoming and looked after the place really well. The local area is lovely and peaceful with a nice local beach and loads of seals only about 3 miles away on the beach towards Horsey Gap. Would definitely recommend

Family Campervan Weekend Away

Having never been to this campsite before we were unaware of the fantastic facilities and super friendly welcome we were going to receive when we arrived!! After a long warm drive we couldn’t have ask for anything more. Receiving an information brochure regarding campsite rules and amenities including hospital information and pharmacy contacts. It was an automatic relief as we have 11 year old and 6 year old children. Are lovely Border Collie enjoyed herself too. Pitching field was great as they had a lot of space to play. Toilet, shower facilities and sink area were amazing, lovely and clean with enough product to allow the user to leave it as they found it. The owners were lovely and friendly making us feel welcome! We would definitely book again and would recommend highly!

Not for Motorhomes

Immaculate site, lovely area, near beautiful villages and beach. Not far from Weavers Way cycle path, fab. Lovely owners, loads of info etc. But, pub is not accessible by foot and misleading dog walk information. Says perfect for dog walking, absolutely Not. No dog walking direct from site, walk to beach down a very busy road at weekends with no footpath for first 15 mins before footpath appears. No other off road footpaths direct from site so no, this is not perfect for dog walking. Toilet and shower immaculate yes but no one has mentioned that it’s only good if you a little person, no good if you are 6ft or over. Description should say no dog walking direct from site, owners please amend.

Well kept and peaceful site

I stayed here for a short mid week break in May having booked over the phone just a few days before. Linda was very helpful on the phone and my booking was quickly completed and I received detailed directions and payment information by email. On arrival I was greeted by Chris who showed me to the paddock which was surprisingly spacious, flat and very tidy. All the pitches are generous in size. Chris explained all the facilities, there is a very nice block local information, a single shower, toilet and dishwashing station, all inside. Free Wi-Fi on site and I did get a TV signal too. The waste disposal area is spotlessly clean and very well laid out. A very welcoming site, would definitely stay here again.

A Real Gem

This is one of the the most delightful CL we have ever stayed at. Chris and Linda make every effort to make your stay 5 star. Shower and pot wash, waste disposal etc are spotless, TV signal is brilliant and the WiFi quick and reliable. The grounds are immaculate and Chris is always in hand with advice on local amenities. We can 100% recommend The Ingham Swan for excellent food and drink. The area has plenty to offer.
