First CL site we are converted

A perfect site. This is our first time away in a CL and we shall be returning. On arrival we were met by Linda and taken down to the site. We were given a choice of two pitches and to be fair, both were beautiful, spacious and tranquil. Beautiful sunsets and many hours watching the farmers bring in the harvest on the field behind. We used our own facilities and as staying with teenage daughters, those in the quaint little shower block, which consisted of toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Spotlessly cleaned 3 times a day and by everyone who uses them in between. Plenty of soap, hand gel and antibacterial sprays. Explored the local area, of sea palling, horsey, Happisburgh lighthouse and beautiful beach, Norwich cathedral and took a day boat out on the broads, which to the delight of all of us, we watched otters playing in the river. We will be back to stay again, the sea air and camping field are both good for the mind and he soul.

Gem of a site

Stayed three nights and had a wonderful relaxing visit. We received a very warm welcome from Chris and Linda who are working so hard to keep their visitors safe during the current situation with Covid. The walk into Sea Palling is tricky along the busy road but worth the effort once you get there. Would highly recommend and will definitely revisit

Exemplary CL Site

This was our first ever CL site experience and it's encouraged us to visit more CLs in the future. Chris and Linda made us feel so welcome and were helpful in terms of local things-to-do. It was a tranquil site and the toilet/shower room was immaculate (though we used our own facilities for the most part). We enjoyed a few local walks and trips (even managed a seaside fish-and-chip supper at Walcott one evening). The nearby farm shop was a great place to mooch around and there is a large Tesco in Stalham around ten minutes' drive away. Highly recommended.

Lovely Cl

This is a lovely Cl and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. I agree with other reviews in this regard. Very clean and well maintained. The cl is set back from the owners house and although it is just off a busy road there was little road noise. There are some lovely views across the fields. Unfortunately there were no safe dog walks directly from site. The downside for us was the lack of footpaths. Sea Palling is a lovely sea side, however it is not a mile away as stated on the CL write up - it is a good 30 minute walk to the beach at Sea Palling along a very busy and dangerous road (60mph). You have to walk on the grass verge for a good third of the walk, zigzagging across the road. At the junction for Hickling you are allowed to walk on the farmers field and from here the walk is very pleasant.

Wow !

What a fabulous CL !! Wasn't sure about leaving a review as we want to be able to get in next year . Firstly the whole site is absolutely immaculate in every way. The little shower/ loo and washing up area are kept in pristine condition. The shower curtain is changed every day, the tiles gleam and it all smells amazing when ever you go in. Due to covid there are hand sanitisers everywhere they are needed, spray disinfectants ect and even the waste bins on site are immaculate and actually smell nice! Lovely flat area which has lovely views across the fields. Pitches are huge . The site is in what we think is a perfect spot as the Norfolk Broads are within a few minutes but also very near some lovely quiet beaches. A large Tesco is nearby in Stalham and there is a farm shop and butchers very close to the site. Chris and Linda are such lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. There are also two stunning holiday cottages to rent for extended family or friends. There will be more showers and toilets in the future as building has just started . Definitely a 10/10 CL

Lovely site

This is a gem of a site. A very spacious field, nicely sheltered in a wonderfully quiet location. The location is ideal for the coast or the broads, we spent a very happy week cycling and walking and paddling nearby. Chris and Linda were very welcoming and friendly. Never intrusive, but always around if you had a question. There is a farm shop nearby which sells fresh food and heavenly ice cream, a butchers with a small outdoor cafe attached ideal for a late breakfast sandwich or a quick lunch. And the Swan at Ingham is acknowledged as one of the best pub/restaurants in the region. The toilet block at the site is not the largest, but is exceptionally clean with great COVID measures in place and plans afoot to build a new toilet block soon.

One to remember

Wow, what a find! This is a fabulous CL. Owners Chris and Linda make every effort to make you feel welcome and safe and secure in the current Covid situation. The field and facilities are kept spotlessly clean and for extended family who may want to visit they also have a couple of beautiful holiday cottages. I can’t speak highly enough of this site, it’s everything you would want it to be! Thanks for a lovely stay Chris and Linda 😊

Close to nature

This peaceful site is surrounded by wildlife and offers great views across farmland to the dunes beyond. Only a 15/20 min walk to the fabulous beach that stretches for miles both North and South of Sea Palling. Bridge House proprietors Chris and Linda provided a warm welcome and ensure that both site and facilities are pristine at all times. Definitely worth a visit and in our case a return trip later in the year.

Fabulous site

A lovely level and beautifully maintained site. Very friendly welcome from Chris and Linda who worked extremely hard keeping the facilities spotless in the current circumstances. Great to have two self catering cottages on site as well for non camping friends and family. Great location close to beaches and managed to see the Horsey seals basking on the beach. Great local produce and friendly welcome in both the local farm shop and Causeway butchers (Norfolk sausages are superb). A lovely trip and we look forward to returning soon.
