We are Norfolk people and stumbled on this site for a short end of season visit close to home… on leaving home we called the Site and Julia said there was room for us and pitch three, (hard standing), would be ours for our stay; she said the Site was a fully serviced Site on all pitches and the rate would be just £20 per night - no extras. There were exclusive facilities on Site and unusually for many, Sites in Norfolk anyway, dogs were welcome.
Too good to miss we thought and travelled straight there and that’s when we realised that ‘too good to miss’ was an understatement… first class doesn’t do the hard work and outlay justice in any way. We headed for our pitch and was soon joined by a beaming Julia who explained that David and her had just come back from a stay in Birmingham collecting the 2022 award.
They were right to be proud of the award and we were lucky to stumble on the site… the problem is that this Site is now going to become so well supported that I think such a fortunate last minute visit might be much harder, if not impossible, to come by.
