Perfect stay.

This site is wonderful , beautifully maintained and managed by the nicest of people. The pitches are spacious and well maintained. The amenities are spotlessly clean . The site is a credit to David and Julia we will definitely return . Had a good meal at the village pub.

Must be up there with one of the best CL's we have visited, Dave & Julia are perfect hosts the site is very spacious, clean & fully serviced, you are allowed to run the grey waste into the hedge. Lovely fully stocked cabin with ice cream, local produce & lots of info.Well placed for visiting National Trust, The Broads & Thetford forest.

Lovely Stay

Arrived early July, owners away on holiday so never met them , but Gill and Stuart who were looking after the site for them made us feel very welcome and told us where everything was. Realy enjoyed our chats with them and got a good laugh. The site is well worth its reward , the shower room is immaculate and information room has jams, chutneys, ice creams and sweet treats for sale. We enjoyed our stay at this cl and the surrounding area with the Broads and Cromer well worth a visit.

Smashing site.

Well we have a 3 hour tow to get here, 3rd visit now and always a very nice greeting when we arrive. The sun shone all week so what more could we ask for, great site and a very nice area & still places to go. As soon as we arrive the relaxation starts, my wife loves all the different jams. Some sites you just love & this is one of them.

Just fantastic

We have just returned from Broadmarsh Farm CL Having a Motorhome over 8 metres it was nice to have easy access into the farm then into the CL. A board with my name and pitch number was easily seen. The hard standings were a great size and easy to reverse into from the roadway each pitch had uninterrupted views across the fields. All pitches have 16amp electric and a water tap which is always an added bonus. Julia the owner greeted us she was very welcoming and informative. They have a cabin which houses the toilet and shower which were clean and well proportioned. Also within the cabin is a freezer with local sausages, bacon etc. They also have local jams and sweet treats to purchase. The village has a small general store & post office, and pub both within walking distance. There are plenty of walks via roadways and public footpaths. We cannot recommend this CL enough so much so we have booked to return in July. On leaving David the other owner came over and wished us a safe journey . Thus is certainly one of the best .

Perfect CL

We have just returned from a week at this lovely site. It really is as immaculate as it looks in the photos. It was so easy to find and on arrival a board showed that we had been allocated pitch 3. If we could have selected a pitch we would have chosen pitch 3 as it was in a corner with our own "garden". Each pitch has so much space and it is a real bonus to have your own water tap and 16 amp hook up. The owner Dave came and introduced himself shortly after we arrived and he was very friendly and informative. We tend to use our own onboard facilities but there is a lovely shower and toilet and washing up sink should you need it. We didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed visits to Thetford Forest, the Blickling Estate (NT), Horsey Gap where we saw literally thousand of seals on the beach and we also walked by the Broads. We would certainly recommend Broadmarsh Farm and would love to return at some point in warmer weather so that we could sit out in our "garden" and also explore the local public footpaths which were sadly too soggy and slippery on this occasion. On site we had a pheasant that visited daily, we saw hares, goldfinches, blue tits, great tits, blackbirds, thrushes and wood pigeons and one morning watched red kites hunting. The site definitely deserves its CL of the year award. Well done David and Julia!

Fantastic.

Visited first time in late September 2021 and had a wonderful time, lots of sunshine so we returned deepest winter for Christmas 2022 and still loved it even with the rain, Had all our winter coats so never got wet or cold, we went for a Christmas eve meal at Beckland Lodge which is about a 1 1/2 miles away, very tasty indeed. Thank you David & Julia so much for making this one of our favorite sites. See you again in 2023. (for some more Jam)

Worthy winners of the 2022 CL of the year.

We arrived on site with our name and pitch number clearly marked on a board by the site entrance. David arrived quickly with a warm welcome, giving us site information. The very well tended grass pitches are staggered so units are not blocking the views from the hard standings. Each pitch was all service, Julia had sanitised the taps before our arrival. We stayed for a fortnight during plenty of rain but amazingly the pitch drained very quickly and was not at all soft. Although we used our own shower, theirs looked very clean and tidy. There were many books and dvds to borrow and local jams and chutney for sale in the amenity hut. Rural views, lovely sunrise and sunsets. Both David and Julia were extremely friendly and had lots of information on the local area. We have no hesitation in recommending this site and would love to return, it is very easy to see why they won 2022 CL of the Year.

An OASIS in Norfolk

We are Norfolk people and stumbled on this site for a short end of season visit close to home… on leaving home we called the Site and Julia said there was room for us and pitch three, (hard standing), would be ours for our stay; she said the Site was a fully serviced Site on all pitches and the rate would be just £20 per night - no extras. There were exclusive facilities on Site and unusually for many, Sites in Norfolk anyway, dogs were welcome. Too good to miss we thought and travelled straight there and that’s when we realised that ‘too good to miss’ was an understatement… first class doesn’t do the hard work and outlay justice in any way. We headed for our pitch and was soon joined by a beaming Julia who explained that David and her had just come back from a stay in Birmingham collecting the 2022 award. They were right to be proud of the award and we were lucky to stumble on the site… the problem is that this Site is now going to become so well supported that I think such a fortunate last minute visit might be much harder, if not impossible, to come by. Good luck to you both, David & Julia, we know you’ll be a tad busier now the news of your well deserved win has gone viral. Mike, Linda and Sebby the Cockerpoo.
