Secluded and welcoming

We had 7 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The site is clean and beautifully laid out, with good recycling facilities. There is a very pretty gladed walk on site which was really handy for our dog (on lead only).Mandy was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Wish we could have stayed longer

We’ve just spent 9 nights on this wonderful CL and really wish we could have stayed for another 9. Lovely location on a working farm within easy reach of Bude and many other places of interest. Lovely on site dog walk but easily a lovely walk without a dog. Communication with owner was second to none before and during our visit and we received a lovely welcome on arrival. Would definitely recommend this site, discount prices if you stay for a week or more and we will be back to visit again. Thank you Mandy and Brian for a wonderful holiday spent on your CL.

Wish we could've stayed longer!

We had very good communication with the owner before arriving, and no problem getting access to the CL. Noise was minimal despite it being a working farm. We are not dog-owners but were pitched by the entrance to the dedicated woodland dog walk, which other campers and dogs seemed to be using every day. All in all a great time, and next year we'll make sure we book earlier to get a full two weeks!

A true gem of a site

Lucky enough to stay her for 2 weeks. A really peaceful and tranquil site which is well laid out providing ample space between each caravan. Warm welcome on arrival by Mandy who provided helpful information relating to local facilities. Great dog walk on site amongst woodlands with well maintained pathways. Amazing birdsong can be heard throughout the day and owls at night. Secure easy access to site. Great location to Bude, Widemouth Bay and other resorts. Morrisons and Lidl both a short drive away. We absolutely loved this site and the way it is managed is a credit to Mandy and Brian. We will be back for sure in the very near future. Thank you! Mike & Jackie (& Ralph)

Great second visit

We returned this year after enjoying our time at Burn Farm last summer and we were not disappointed. We love the site and the location and visited places old and new. The weather was pretty good which was a bonus. We will definitely be back. Thanks Mandy and Brian for such a gem of a site.

Had 3 weeks here would definitely come back

We had 3 weeks on site the owners ask us to keep dogs on leads at all times when on site which I liked as one of our 2 dogs dose not like other dogs so this is very good & it is a working farm the owners are very nice and here to help at the end of the holiday another member came on site and was asked to keep there dogs on leads but he thinks this dose not apply to them when I reported them to Mandy ,there was a confrontation which she felt threatened so she had to call her husband, the site the owners are so nice this is not acceptable from members

A CL’s CL!

Burn Farm is what CL’s are about. Basic facilities, (but all you need), friendly owners and easy access. The site is generally peaceful but there is some occasional noise from farm machinery but then it is on a working farm. Some of the pitches are hard standing, some grass. The CL has it’s own small wood which is great for walking the dog although boots are advised when the weather is wet due to rain or heavy dew. Bude is lovely and about 10 minutes drive on good roads and access to other tourist spots is also very good. (We were in a 7.2m motorhome). Enjoyed our stay!

Exceptional Summer Holiday 2021

We found out about Burn Farm CL when Mandy replied to our online request for availability of a CL in North Cornwall in August and September. From the moment we arrived we were so grateful to her for getting in touch with us. She was friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed not only for the site but for places of interest to visit in the area. The site definitely ticked all the boxes for us - quiet, well maintained, good access to the water and recycling and elsan points; as caravanners we were allowed to choose any available pitch on the grass and decided to go for the one at the far end - still within easy reach of the EHU. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets, and the only noise was from the birdsong or the sheep bleating from time to time! It was easy to drive into Bude - a beautiful spot that we fell in love with; we also enjoyed the beach at nearby Widemouth; travelled no more than 30 mins by car to other beautiful places such as - Hartland Quay, Clovelly and Boscastle - the latter having the most delicious Cornish ice-cream! There were a number of different supermarkets a short car drive away. We had the most wonderful 12 nights at Burn Farm and will most definitely be booking again - not only a super place to stay but such a reasonable nightly rate - even at High Season. Thank you Mandy for all you do to make Burn Farm such a great CL.

Quiet and Relaxing

Enjoyed very much my stay here. Mandy was very helpful when I arrived. Gave me the code for the gate and showed me to my pitch.Excellent value at £13 /night with wi-fi and all facilities close by. As a walker, it was close to the coast path and weather was very good for 5 out of 7 days. Lovely walks from Crackington Haven to Widemouth Bay, also C H to Boscastle( bussing the one way and walking the other way on both walks). Also was able to launch my inflatable kayak( £5 day permit) on the Bude canal. A good 2.5 miles of navigable waterway to Helebridge. Also walked from Boscastle to Tintagel, and drove to Port Isaac . Thoroughly recommend. Will certainly return! HUW Lewis

Quiet, Easy Access, Good Facilities. What more could you want?

A truly wonderful site and we are struggling to think of a better site that we have stayed on. Access is easy. We left the A30 at Okehampton and came up via Holsworthy and found the route to be very easy all the way to the site. As others have said the site is quiet and flat with plenty of space. Disposal point is good and recycling facilities are well organised. There is a wonderful walk in the wood that adjoins the site. The electric gates provide added security and can easily be operated from the car window so no getting out and fumbling with padlocks and chains that we have encountered on some sites! Bude and Widemouth Bay are close by and Boscastle, Tintagel, Sandymouth, Crackington Haven, Hartland and Clovelly are all within easy reach. We will be returning.
