Basic no thrills site.
We had a problem finding the site as it is across the road from the Golf Club , towards Burstwick. The staff were very friendly in the bar/restaurant and gave us directions. The food was well priced and good.
The site is large with reasonably short grass. Fairly level. The road noise during the day and evening is intrusive. There are no bins. There is toilet disposal and fresh water. The view is of wind turbines and farm land. The club house is easy walking distance.
The following comments are more to do with other '?members' than the site. On the first night we were the only occupants. On our return there was a massive motor home right in the middle of the field leaving us just enough room to hitch up and pull out. It got worse, a VW camper van arrived and pulled up in front of our caravan meaning that now I would have to swing my van 90 degrees before hitching up. We now had the ridiculous sight of 3 vans all in about a quarter of a a 1.5 acre field. They thankfully left the next morning, leaving their toilet tent pegs in the ground as they couldn't remove them. If you have a camper van with no toilet, no cooker and no water don't use a basic site and allow your kids to get washed with the drinking water tap. Rant over.
