Brilliant site

First visit, booked at very short notice as site we had booked was closed due to inclement weather. Lovely site, lovely owners and easy to find and good access. Will be booking again very soon so we can visit family & friends in the area.

First time visit.

Arrived just before 12-00 and our pitch was empty so pulled straight on to it. A very warm welcome and the site was spotlessly clean. All the pitches are hard standing with space for caravan, awning & car, utility area well laid out. About 1/2 mile walk to end of lane there's bus stops for the X4 to Southampton or Portsmouth. Views over the Solent of cruise ships going out of a night all lit up. Bit windy while we were there but never spoilt the 8 days we were there. Waitrose and many other shops at Locks Heath shopping center, not far away. Would I go again, without a doubt.

A peaceful and well organised site

It's just been a pleasure to stay six days at this site. All the pitches face south and have distant views to the Solent and Isle Of Wight. No need to touch the grass so all equipment stayed perfectly clean for simple packing away. Services are neatly enclosed and with solar powered PIR lights are easy to use even in the dark, including a gully for grey-water disposal.

Great site, will definitely be coming back.

Stopped here for a week while working in Fareham in our MH. Can't fault the site. Pretty much level gravel hard-standing pitches, nicely spaced with clear views in all directions, including views of the Isle of Wight. Immaculately kept with a big dog-walking area and genuinely friendly, helpful owners. Central services for water and waste. Five minute walk to a bus stop with a regular bus service. Easy 25-minute walk to the village centre, where there's a Coop, One-Stop, pharmacy (not open on Sunday), couple of pubs and a few shops. Selection of take-aways and food deliveries available via Just-Eat and Deliveroo. Really can't fault it. People have written about the lane access being awkward and hard to find. No idea what that was about, as the lane was easy enough - we brought down a 7m A-Class with no problems at all and was easy to find; satnav took us straight here. Booking essential, as many seem to use it as a stop over for the ferry and it was full in November. i work in Fareham from time to time and not going to bother looking for alternate sites, unless this is full.

Hidden Jem!

Fantastic CL site with super friendly owners, immaculately maintained all weather hard standing pitches and grounds and dog walk area segregated. Service point is centrally located and easy to use. Fantastic walks down paths to the coast with dog friendly beach. Can’t wait to return but it’s very popular so you may have trouble booking!

One of the best non facility CLs we've stayed at.

We often used to stay at this CL when it was run as a nursery. It was fine as a one or two night stopover for the ferry. Not been back for a few years as we have been catching a night ferry so staying further away, or travelling from the East coast. What a great transformation. The current owners, relatives of the previous ones, have produced an excellent CL with 5 large Hardstanding pitches with good spacing between each and adequate room for manoeuvre. There is also provision to pitch on the grass in summer nearer to the hedge. There are adequate EHU points close to each pitch and a central area for fresh water, grey waste disposal and an Elsan which is functional and easy to use. This area also contains 2 bins, one for general waste and another for recycling. The owners are extremely pleasant. The Nursery is no more. The only drawback is the potholed approach road which should be taken at a very slow pace. However the road doesn't just give access to the CL but to several houses along its stretch and to farms and houses beyond so I'm not sure what the owners can do to rectify it. Access to the CL is straight forward and easy. Clear pitching instructions are on the windows of the owners conservatory. The pitches themselves can have a slight tilt and we pitched off centre to achieve a balance. There are multiple supermarkets near by, eating places in pubs and restaurants in Fareham. Portsmouth ferry terminal is less than half an hour away. All in all a wonderful CL. Many members use it regularly so book early.

Quiet CL

Very difficult to find so read the site instructions carefully and don't use your sat Nov. Very quiet and dark site with great pitch sizes. Lovely grassed areas for walking the dogs. Nice stopover

We used this lovely CL site as a ferry stopover at the start and end of our trip to Spain.

A lovely site which we found when looking for a one night stopover prior to and after our ferry to Spain. Owners are delightful and very welcoming and reserved a special easy pitch for us. the views from this site are wonderful and the site is maintained to a very high standard. I am about to book this site again for the same reason. Unfortunately, we don't live in the South otherwise we would definitely be using this site for many trips throughout the year.

Peaceful and well situated

This site is ideal for us visiting relatives nearby. The approach road is narrow and not tarmaced but no problem for our motorhome and tow car, don't be put off! The owners were welcoming and helped us find alternative facilities when they were fully booked and we wanted an extra night in the area. Very handy for Southampton and Portsmouth, nice pubs in the village and the site is dog friendly, all we could ask for really, hope to return soon.

Good cl

Our first time at this cl and it proved to be a good experience. The site itself is excellent, quiet, with nice view and good clean hard standings. What makes it special for us is the endless amount of footpaths, especially good for dog walking, and the bus service at the end of the lane giving easy access to Southampton, Portsmouth and Fareham, or you can change at Fareham for other routes, excellent for motorhomers. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back.
