Cornish treat

We only use CL’s, all over the UK since the 80’s and this is one of the best. 5 spacious hard standing pitches moulded in the gentle hillside, all with 180° panoramic views of Penzance bay and the iconic St Michael’s Mount. The site is immaculately maintained, beautiful flower displays and striped ‘lawn’, clippings collected. Friendly owners ( Jim and his wife, Jen), all shopping amenities a couple of miles away, as well as all the local tourist attractions. Everything is on your pitch, water, grey disposable, and metered electric, with daily free allowance, then chargeable ( cost us an extra £1.00 a day). Clean a spacious CEP and recycle bins. Worth every penny! Ps take meter reading before you unplug 240v lead, we took photos 😉

Beyond perfect

This was the best CL on our recent 8-site tour of the south-west. Huge, beautifully manicured lawns point towards the vast view over Penzance Bay and St. Michael’s Mount. Exceptionally quiet. We enjoyed chatting to James the owner. We’d have gone to the White Hart in Ludgvan for the evening meal but it’s just changed hands. Mexico Inn at Long Rock was buzzy and gave us a good supper instead. Elec is included in the fee, up to 10 units per night. The owner told us that he’s pretty booked up for 2023, until October. Recommend booking now for 2024, this is a superb site.

Beautiful site & setting

This little gem of a site we found by accident. The views from all the pitches are amazing, over looking St Michaels Mount. A lovely quiet site, fully serviced pitches made our stay such a relaxing stay. James the owner even drove out to meet us when we arrived as we had car trouble on the way down and it was getting dark. What a star! The only downside for us was the pub, which is only 5 mins walk to the village, had recently closed. Thank fully we had food for the first night. Will definitely return for another visit, if we can get a pitch.

New Year Break

Beautiful little gem of a site with amazing sea views overlooking St Michael's Mount. Lovely landscaped site with excellent well spaced hard-standing pitches, all with their own water supply, grey water waste and EHU, immaculately clean and well kept grounds, On arrival, it was getting dark and we were pleasantly surprised by a nice touch of a real Christmas tree with lights on each individual pitch, which was very welcoming. Both Debbie and James were perfect hosts, they made us feel welcome; Debbie visited us on NYE morning with a lovely bottle of Prosecco which was a wonderful surprise. We will definitely returning in the near future.

Christmas break

We had a warm greeting on arrival from James. Pitch and site very clean and tidy. Every pitch over the festive period had a Christmas tree with lights and the thoughtful bag of Christmas goodies given by Debbie and Jen. Lovely views across to st michaels mount (which was lit up at night). Each pitch had power, water and grey waste, what was a godsend. Bin and chemical waste area again was very clean and tidy. The lower part of the site where we could take our dog out was great as weather was rather wet and windy. Fabulous site that we wouldn’t hesitate to come back to. Thank you James, Debbie and Jen for a great stay.

Superb

This is a very beautiful site. The site is presented exceptionally well with good signage and easily identified pitches. The pitches are large, fully serviced and very well maintained. The views are spectacular. The welcome was lovely albeit quick, the weather was atrocious. The communication received prior to our arrival was also excellent. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here.

Stunning

What an amazing little site, perfect location with great views. The site is immaculate and beautifully presented throughout. Pitches are spacious and perfectly level and all have electric, water and grey disposal. Separate field for dog walking/games etc. so peace and quiet is guaranteed. I always do a recce on Google earth/street view and the site's not on it so must be fairly new but I can assure you it exists, just follow the directions. Couple of pinch points on the route in but nothing to worry about. We had a wander over to St. Michaels mount which was a lovely walk, check the tide times though ! You really couldn't ask for anything more from a CL the owners have done an amazing job.

Little Gem of a site

We stayed on this site for 3 weeks in August going into September, I can Honestly say this site is outstanding the owner and his Daughter were so kind and friendly we felt like we’d known them for years They were very welcoming, always came on site to see if everything was okay, the site is kept immaculate Even the personal little touches, like flowers on the edge Of your pitch, outside tables provided The Ammenities are literally on your doorstep 5 minute drive but you’ve still got the countryside surrounding you, really it’s the best of both we couldn’t of asked for a better view of the Amazing St Michaels Mount a different view everyday, the beaches are easy to get to There is a local bus available which takes you to various locations you won’t be disappointed so much so we’ve booked up for a month next year :)

Beautiful site.

Stayed at this site from the 30/9/22 for a long weekend. The site has fairly easy access from the A30, Site is lovely, all hard standing, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, the owners where really friendly. The view from all pitches is fabulous, you look out over Mounts bay and St Michaels Mount, “fantastic”. I would definitely stay here again, if I can get in, it is so good I feel it will be be extremely popular, there fore will need to book way in advance.

Fabulous 7days

This site is amazing. We stayed on Porthcurno pitch with our twin axle caravan and fairly large awning . The EHU, water and waste is great and enabled showering and even clothes washing by hand so easy. Good recycling and an Elsan disposal next to pitch . The view of St Michaels Mount is beautiful. Local pub The White Hart is 5 minutes through the site near the church. Tasty food and very convivial. We were here a week in lovely sunny weather and had some great days out to the lovely beaches and villages in the area. Even a trip down The Lizard only took 45 minutes driving. So a really good base. Very handy for trips to The Scilly Isles. Great footpath down to Marazion but large dog owners beware it’s partly stiles with no dog friendly side openings. Ours is a 30 kilo boxer ! We had to lift him over 4 stiles . Generally though it’s a good area for dogs and ours loved a good run round on the football pitch . But be advised that dogs are not allowed over to St Michaels Mount between March and October so a bit of planning needed. Handy for 3 big supermarkets and petrol.., all within 3 miles. Met the owner James on a couple of occasions. Very lovely friendly guy. Site very well run and quite stunning. We’ll be back. Thanks James and family .
