Great CL

We stayed here one Saturday in May to visit RSPB reserves and other local attractions. Although right on the edge of the town this feels very much a rural CL but is just a short bike ride to seafront (2.5. miles) through quite residential area. It is very spacious and also has plenty of showers and toilets for a CL. Super friendly and helpful welcome.

Just what a CL should be!

Can't add much to the previous good reviews! Found the entrance easily thanks to prior information. Friendly greeting and shown the facilities. Large level paddock with marked pitches and picnic tables. Flexible departure time was allowed because we had specific requirements to leave later than midday. Thanks for a nice stay.

Good location

Good location for exploring the area with easy acces to town by bus. We walked to the sea front in approximately 35mins and it is completely flat all the way. There are NO signs visible from the road for this site, so as you approach it following the directions you think you are turning into a "Public Foot Path". May we suggest this is mentioned in the published directions, to make it easier, also look for the two rows of concrete bollards at the entrance. Excellent warm welcome, lots of information offered. My only issue would be with the length of the grass, sadly a little too long, not quite what the published image implies. Overall excellent value for money.

Calm and tranquil.. just perfect!

We stayed a week here whilst visiting relatives.  The site is well maintained and has all the basic facilities you need (water, chemical disposal and good recycling facilities).   In response to a previous review, yes the water does take an age to fill an Aquaroll.. so sit back, relax and enjoy watching the local woodpecker or the pheasants.. or just the peacefulness of the whole place! We had mixed weather whilst here (typical British summer!) but had no issues getting off the site, despite it being a very wet day. There is a little noise from the road, but we were on the pitch nearest to it (our choice) and it soon blends in to the background. It is a lovely place, with easy access to local tourist attractions (if that's what you're after), some great walking for the dog and the beach nearby. It is definitely in our virtual brochure of sites we will visit again!

Peaceful site

A very warm welcome was given by Richard on our arrival.  The site was very well maintained.  Situated on the edge of Bognor Regis with an easy walk to the beach and town. Lovely cafe inbetween the beach huts at the West Park end of the beach, is well worth a visit A public footpath runs along side the site which is great if you have a dog.

sadly not so enjoyable

Had a recent stay on this cl after reading a good review from 2013,during our stay the grass was quite long and I would not describe it as lawned, the drinking water takes forever to fill an aquaroll and the chemical emptying point lid is in need of repair, perhaps we were unlucky not to have seen it at its best. But that said it has plenty of space for 5 units, flat and local for Bognor.

A well kept little haven away from things

We have been to this site numerous times with our kids and we love it! Nice and away from everything and snugly enclosed on all sides by mature hedges. The grass is very well kept and the pitches well spaced out. Each pitch has a picnic bench which is a nice touch! Owners is very friendly and our kids enjoyed meeting their 4 dogs! As this site is affordable we are able to come and spend breaks here no matter how hard times are. No power on site, but the plots are so well spaced out that our 'silent' generator cannot be heard from the next plot so we don't feel too guilty when starting it up.
