a quiet getaway
We stayed a week at this quiet site where on a night the only sound was the owl. and we loved it. The field was well spaced out between caravans 4 with lovely views the other one was further back in the field, still with views of the hills and a hard standing.
The facility area was clean and easily accessible. The Information hut contained lots of local information as well as books and DVDs if wanted.
Plenty of places within driving distance to visit, such as Alwick where there is a castle, garden and a massive bookshop with cafe in an old railway station, nice on a rainy day.
