A Super CL in a lovely setting

Great communication while making our booking and Ted was there to meet us on arrival with plenty of information about the surrounding area. We stayed for 12 nights in September and wished we could have stayed longer as so much to see in every direction. We visited, Bletchley, Blenheim, Waddesdon, Runnymede, Marlow, Henley etc etc. Lovely to have a really large pitch with water, waste and electrics - makes the holiday more enjoyable not having to fill and empty water!! Great views across the countryside. A very slight hum of traffic out on the motorway but it is so distant that it does not disturb. Ted even checked that the lane down to the CL was clear for us exiting the site and saw us safely out onto the main road. We would definitely return here and recommend to others.

a lovely CL

We recently spent 5 nights here. We received a warm welcome on arrival and given lots of info on the walks and nearby attractions. The pitches were all level and fully serviced. It is a very peaceful site and the views are stunning. Deer and red kites visited regularly. Ted has marked some of the paths on his land with white markers which are permissible for guests and perfect for a stroll.we thought this was a nice idea. Public footpaths run directly from the site too and the walking was excellent. we didn't use it but there is a bus stop directly outside the gate. It was a perfect site for us and we will be returning! We would highly recommend!

Lovely Site and Owner

What a lovely man the owner is. Nothing is too much trouble and he goes out of his way to help. When I got the initial instructions about giving them a ring as we approached, and the security gate code, I must admit I wondered what I was going into. But it is all designed to ensure you have an easy approach down a drive that is shared with horse boxes - and it works well. This site is in a great location. Beautiful views from the pitch, walks through woods where there are deer, and lovely villages nearby. A couple of miles from the M40, 10 miles from Henley, 20 from Oxford, and you can be in central London in an hour using the train from High Wycombe. Pitches are a good size, sloping and make sure you take a good hammer for the pegs. It’s a good walk to the CDP (100 yds) but there is a wheelbarrow provided so you don’t have to lug the cassette up the track. A really great cl

Great site with amazing views

Lovely, well maintained site with great views. Friendly, helpful owners. Plenty of places to visit and good food at the local pubs. Spectacular red kites flying over the site were great time wasters. Good walks, but a bit hilly for us novice cyclists. We will definitely return.

Great CL to Chill and Take in the Scenery

Spent a week at this great CL in early June. Stunning views form your caravan, wifi, serviced pitch. and the ever gracious Ted checking everything is OK. Visited a few NT houses in the vicinity, Oxford (using P&R on M40 side), and others. Watching the Kites, while relaxing with a drink in glorious early evening sunshine - whats not to like. Must mention the lane to the CL - don't be put off - Ted has access control down to a 'T', and oversaw both our arrival and departure - Thankyou again Ted.

CL Paradise

We had great communication from Ted prior to arriving. He is a wonderful host. Making sure everything is ok for everyone. As others have said it’s quiet and the views are amazing. The surrounding area is beautiful and easy to find. The Red Kites are wonderful to watch. The Wi-Fi is brilliant and the fully serviced pitch’s are a bonus to the whole experience. As we left I thanked Ted for sharing his Paradise with us as that’s how I truly felt. We will go back.

What a Cl.

Beautiful views. Red Kites flying overhead. Plenty of walks from the site. Large hard standings, fully serviced pitches and fast reliable wi-if. Ted was an excellent host. In my view probably the best site we have stayed at. We will be returning.

Stunning CL

Thanks to Ted and Jacky for a lovely 3 night stay, our first time here. The other reviews say it all, but over and above that, Ted kindly and unasked, knocked up 2 ramps for us to use on our motorhome as we weren't quite level and had left mine at home. Pixie enjoyed the walks and exploring the vast grounds too. And all just 25 miles from home, we'll be back - if we can get in!!

Pdrfect

We stayed here during the warm and sunny week in March for our first break of the season. Everything was perfect from the initial search and booking online to the welcoming email and payment instructions before we left home. This is a lovely site with fine views and red kites constantly gliding about which was very relaxing. A good area for National Trust properties and lovely walks along the Thames from various locations. Will return next time we want to visit the area. Fed and Jackie were good hosts and only a phone call away should you need anything.
