Professionally run site with wonderful views set in glorious countryside.
Stayed here for five nights in late October. The site itself is really well run and Ted the owner is very friendly. It’s unusual to get fully serviced pitches on a CL but certainly an advantage during sometimes wet and cold October.
The unobstructed views from the site are wonderful and there are frequently Red Kites flying overhead and even catching prey in the field directly in front of the pitches. We can recommend making use of the laminated walking routes that are available to borrow. If you don’t want to cook then the Fox pub is within walking distance and whilst not cheap the food is of fantastic quality.
