Fantastic CL

Although Churchtown Farm has no EHU and no facilities it is such a beautiful CL with a water tap on each pitch. The CL is a large, well mown field with each pitch measuring at least 20m x 20m, so lots of space between units. The beach is a 15 minute stroll away and the Red River Inn is about 10 minutes away which does quite good food. We visited in summer when their main site was very busy, so the CL across the road seemed even more peaceful and tranquil. In summer and September there is a Suncoaster bus service to St Ives from just outside the Red River Inn. Check-in is at reception for the main site, you then retrace the route back to the entrance off the road, go straight across and the CL is about 400m on the left screened by a wood. The staff in reception were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

My favourite CL of all!!

This CL is my favourite of all as I have been visiting it since I was 7 years old with my family and holds many many happy memories. Although the site has no electric hook-ups it is a lovely site, very peaceful as it is set well back from the road. You can walk to the beach in 15 mins which is stunning with 4 mile of golden sand round to St Ives. The walk onto Godrevy headland is also stunning, with fantastic views of Godrevy lighthouse. There is also a pub a 10 minute walk from the site that does good food and ales. A truly lovely site in a quiet Cornish village!
