One of the nicest CL's in Dorset, it's a quiet, peaceful hideaway site with direct access straight into Wareham Forest. The grass was solid even after torrential rain and there's lots of space to spread out. Facilities are very clean and tidy with a CDP, fresh water and bins. Very fast EE 4g signal and good on Vodafone too.
The perfect location to stay in Dorset
We love this site - plenty of room and the owners are super friendly. The location is great for all the main tourist locations, and plenty of walks for the dogs as well. The local pub we can recommend at this time was doing stone-based pizzas which are amazing - well worth the 15-minute walk through peaceful woodland.
Can't recommend the CL highly enough - it is back to basics which is perfect - The best way to find this location (as the GPS will take you to the neighbour's home) is to use the what3words - ///cleanest.vibrates.additives

Peacefull Site
Stayed here August 2023 for 8 nights. A very warm welcome from the site owners on arrival who pointed out walks for us into Wareham Forrest. The site is easy to find, turn right into gated farm drive on the brow of the hill not long after passing the Silent Woman pub on the left. The site is non electric, we pitched on the right hand side and had the sun from midday for the solar panel, If you park on the left you get the sun in the morning but not late afternoon.
The field is quite flat with plenty of space, toilet disposal point is very good together with the water and bins.
The site is 15 minutes to Corfe Castle and 30 minutes to Studland beaches, and easy walk to the pub.Would use again

Nice site but map reference wrong. Should have more details in description
Contrary to some of the previous reviews we found the site to be well kept and the access lane reasonable. The description understates the surrounding area.
We missed the site at first because the map reference is wrong. It should be 50.709862, -2.142137.
We checked in with Mrs Rowberry who said her husband would see us shortly. However, after an hour or so we walked to the local pub, the Silent Woman, so missed him. The road is busy with no pavement so possibly dangerous. When we later met Mr Rowberry he explained that there is a path from the back of the site directly to the pub, through the woods. The path also leads to the Sika Trail which is a 7-mile footpath/cycle path through the Wareham Forest. It provides a quick off-road route to Wareham, about 2 miles away. Wareham is a quaint town with old areas and an interesting riverside.

Good site bit bumpy.
Nice site tucked away in woodland paddock
No electric yet but owner now considering it.
Very bumpy so have things stowed securely away.
Fairly quiet apart from some dog barking and children playing in the next field another site I believe but not visible.
Chemical waste point ,recycling bins waste water point and fresh drinking water point.
Friendly owner gives directions through wood to local pub 10 min walk 👍
Needs Work
It would be easy to be too negative about this site but there is definitely work needed to bring it up to standard. The field is one of the roughest we have been on and we would not have wanted to sit out. The view is non existent because of the massive conifers and trees round the field. The drive up to the field has massive pot holes and although the owner has cut the hedge back its not enough for larger vans. The best thing is the disposal and water facilities which are fine. The owner is very friendly too.
Great walking location
We stayed on this cl early June 2019 ..
The cl is pretty new to the network so hopefully this review may help..
The site access is a little bumpy and those with very large MH or caravans may struggle ..but the drive to the cl pitch is only 150 metres or so ...the field is a little rough compared to some but is pretty level ..the water tap ..waste and rubbish bins are in a paved area and fine.
The owner allows access to Wareham forest by crossing two small fields and through a private gate....where you can walk for hours or take a 15 min stroll to the local pub !!
The owner has plans to improve things as and when ...we very much enjoyed are stay and will be back. I my view it's the location for walking that gives this site 4/5 stars ..
