A lovely peaceful stay.

We were allocated a space before we arrived so were able to park up immediately. We were in the first field which had 9 pitches but only 5 were in use, this could have been due to COVID. In the second field there were 15 spaces but only 3 were in use when we were there. If all 24 pitches were in use this would have been a different experience and suggest asking when booking. Everything was clean and tidy and we had a lovely stay. There is a 20min walk to a local pub which does food.

Great site

This is the second time we have visited this site, at this time of year , the facilities are clean and warm . waste facilities clean with Drinking water at end of pitches. Had a very pleasent trip to Iron bridge , a lovely little town. Spent one day fishing, luck was with us as the weather was great, as was the fishing, well worth the £8.00 fee. All in all a great site, with a nice walk around the lakes which we enjoyed several time aday. will be back again next year .

Having had difficulties finding the site, once found what a delight, the owl walk around the 6 lakes is very good, access to A49 is handy to visit places of interest. we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. Dont have fishing tackle with me but will next time. Will definitely be visiting again. The site lay-out is good and the shower/toilet block splendid.

A great find !

Came across this site by using Club on line search. What a great find! It is quiet, peaceful ,and in superb countryside. The fishing was very good and there is plenty of room to walk our three large but elderly dogs. The fresh free range eggs available from the farm were very tasty and excellent value. Good TV reception.

A Hidden Gem.

I was a little concerned when I looked at the reviews for this site as there was only one although it was good, well what a surprise. I spent five days on this CL including a very wet August BH and I found it great. The collection of the key for your ECU takes a bit of getting us to but that's the only moan and a little one at that. The site itself is quiet with some good dog walking and excellent fishing. The waste etc is hidden behind some bushes but its well thought out and easier than some I have encountered, water is on each pitch so you could hook up directly if required. About a mile away is The Fox PH which served great food and beer, the staff made us and the dog very welcome. Overall a very nice site which we will be returning to in the not to distant future. Please do not follow your sat nav use the directions on the CL page the entrance can be a little tight so be prepared for it as it sneaks up on you. Fishing out of this world.

Peaceful site with excellent fishing.

Easy access but follow the instructions carefully. Well kept site with individual taps next to EHU. On arrival pitch van then follow instructions on EHU post to get to the farm to obtain the key for the electricity. £5 returnable deposit.  Very friendly, welcoming owners but we didn't see them again as the farm is about 3/4 mile from the site.  The Fox at Ryton is about a mile away, friendly and good food. Lots to see and do in the area. My OH had his best week's fishing ever with a different pool to fish from nearly everyday. We had a great time and will definitely return.
