In the middle of nowhere is this little site with views of the nearby escarpment. Plenty of walks to choose from and a place to ponder and wander. No trouble with filling up with water - used my trusty watering can, thank you, not a lot of noise from the portaloo cleaning business on the weekend. A very warm welcome awaited us on entering the site and the hard standing was fine for our 3.8T van, although I was almost tempted to go on the grass as it was so dry. Walked to the farm shop via a ByeWay and not on the A30. Watch out when approaching the entrance to the site, as it is in a twisting dip of the A30 and this road seems to be used by motorbikes testing their speed. Not enough time spent here so will need to return soon.
