Corner Farm, Addlethorpe.

We stayed for 5 nights over Mayday Bank Holiday weekend (Sat evening to Thursday) When we stayed here 4 years ago, one wet and windy week in march, the site was full. So we were surprised to find only 1 other caravan on site. They went on monday morning leaving the site to ourselves for rest of time, which was great for us; but we can't understand why there were no other vans using the site on a bank holiday weekend, hence the review. This is an excellent CL, hard standing, level pitches, electricity and water tap to each pitch, dog walk from site and peaceful. One of the best little sites in the area, handy for everything. What's not to like?

Great CL

We stayed here for 5 nights over Easter while attending Spring Harvest at nearby Butlins. The site is very well kept, level gravel pitches with water and electric and short grass. The toilets are clean and there is good recycling. Access to the site was easy though exactly where to go on arrival to say you had arrived was a bit unclear. That said, the owners were cheerful and helpful. The owner has taken care to make the site look smart and provide shelter from the prevailing winds with hedges and fences. If you have a long unit you may have to park your car on the grass or in the nearby car park as the length of pitches are tight. We would not hesitate to stay here again if returning to the area.

Fantastic site

Spent a wonderful week at Corner Farm, 3 adults and 2 children. the pitches were large and well serviced with own electric and water. The toilets and shower were kept really clean. Great communication before arrival with prompt replies to emails. This was a great site for exploring the local area. This is a lovely site and would highly recommend it.

We’ve just returned from a short stay at this CL. The site is very well maintained with large gravel pitches and grassed area. We will definitely return. Water and 16 amp electric to each pitch which is an added bonus. The owner is friendly and greeted us upon arrival,we could also choose our own vacant pitch. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

First, but not last visit.

We made the booking via email, mainly in contact with Rees. The replies were prompt and courteous and he answered all of our questions. Overall the booking process was very easy. Arrival was 8th July for 5 nights. Access to the site is best approached from Chapel Lane, the site has two entrances either are fine for entry. Upon exit it is best to use the right side as it gives a clear view along the road On arrival we were greeted by Sue who directed us to the site, were we were meet by Rees who was cutting the grass areas. There were two spare pitches and were given the choice of either. I had a fairly lengthily conversation with Rees who made us feel very welcome. The site is very well set out with water and electric to each pitch and all are hard standing and a generous size. The grassed areas beside each pitch are very large. During our stay there was a good turn around on the pitches, which is good for the site and shows it is popular, long may it continue. At the time of our visit the facilities block was closed because of Covid 19 restriction, Rees had informed us they have been redecorated so we have this to look forward to on our next visit .

Excellent site

Arrived the Friday before the May Day Bank Holiday to be greeted warmly by Rees who was extremely welcoming and keen to show us around his CL. All gravelled pitches with big grassed areas between. New 16A electrics and water tap at each pitch. Grey water into the hedge or to a drainage point by the Toilet & Shower block. - which was not open due to the Covid restrictions. Chemical disposal in a sluice room at the end of block which had I toilet for Gents, 1 for Ladies with a shower room in between. Site is protected from the North Sea winds by tall conifer hedges to the South & West and a beech hedge to the East. Which we needed for the terrific storm on BH Monday but the site drained well & the awning remained intact !! Close enough to Skegness, Ingoldmells & Chapel St Leonards if you wish and easy to access the A52 northwards up the coast or the lovely villages inland. There is good recycling at the CL and (when restrictions allow) a Tea Room Cafe next door which we were told offers great food. On a note of caution some of the small lanes around the site are in very poor condition with massive potholes and damage to the road edges so beware when you are moving over to let approaching vehicles pass, especially if you are towing. - Lincolnshire County Council please take action before you get sued for vehicle damage. Although there were 4 pitches in use on Saturday from the Sunday over the BH only 2 were occupied until we left on Wednesday. The CL, Rees said, was FULLY booked all over the BH but he had had NO SHOWS with no calls or apologies and had to turn people away - so disappointing!! Come on guys - if you can’t make your booking because of a bad weather forecast or anything else show some consideration and phone or email, the CL can then possibly let someone else stay. We will definitely stay again when back to this part of the east coast.

Great site, good location, friendly hosts

We arrived and were greeted by Rees. We were given our pitch which was hardstanding, level and well draining. Each pitch was serviced with electricity, water and grey drainage. The toilets and shower were closed for Covid safety reasons but the serviced pitch made it very easy to use our on board facilities. The site is very quiet and well spread out. John's cafe is onsite and was open Thurs - Sunday when we were there. It's very clean and the food and welcome was really nice. Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards and lots of other places are within easy reach and there is a nice nearby Fish and Chip shop. Whilst we were ther, our fridge decided to stop working and Rees was kind enough to freeze some ice blocks for us so that we could get through to the end of the week. We would definitely hope to return at some point in the future. Many thanks, Chris and Mandy

What a little gem

Arrived here post lockdown and was very surprised at just how lovely it is. The google photos dont do it justice. Great location just outside ingoldmells. Easy flat walks to the beach etc. Great easy cycling. Cafe onsite and 2 fishing lakes within 5 mins. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you from the Schofields x
