A wonderful site - peaceful with great views

We stayed here for four nights in May. We were amazed by the views from the site and on our walks in the surrounding countryside. The site is secure, quiet and nicely kept. The field was large and all the facilities were very conveniently placed. A really nice site.

Lovely peaceful site

We arrived at the site and had an issue gaining entry due to confusion on booking and not receiving our confirmation email, however, the owner was very pleasant and gave us the code we needed to enter the site. The site itself is very peaceful and had beautiful views of the fields. The waste disposal facilities were clean and there was hand sanitizer next to them. It is a lovely site and we would stay again.

Hidden Gem with Beautiful Views and a lovely owner

We stayed for 2 nights over the bank holiday. This is a real hidden gem!💎 Security is excellent and you just wouldnt believe how large the area is and what amazing views from your pitch you have till you enter in through the gates. The owner walked round on the friday and said Hello and was very friendly and welcoming, He advised us on where we could go for a nice walk. He was so friendly to my children and happily chatted away and let them see his chickens and have some Eggs which they was over the moon with! Beautiful , peaceful site.. we would love to return. Thankyou for a lovely weekend

What a find

This is the second time we've stayed here whilst undertaking a few days golf coaching at a nearby Course and the first time using a CL. As newbies to caravanning what a find these CLs are. It couldn't have been a better choice for us. Relatively easy access for our 8.5m UK Fifth Wheel outfit and plenty of room to reverse the caravan into position. Wonderfully quiet location with views across the surrounding countryside from all the pitches. Electricity, water and waste facilities all very convenient. Mr D Williams checked we were OK shortly after arriving and then we were left alone for the rest of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful

Fantastic stay on a beautiful, spacious site. The location was perfect; we loved the excellent walking and cycling routes so near to hand.

A covert 3 days

We had a lovely 3 day break with some friends here, great views from the generous pitches and the security made us feel very safe. David the owner was very helpful. We shall return!

Covert Weekend

We spent a weekend at this CL it was a great find with fabulous views and plenty of space. The site is in a great location and we took advantage of the local area. We booked and paid in advance and were sent information regarding our arrival. We believe the owner was away for a few days over the time we stayed so we didn't get to meet him. A site we would return to in the future.

First visit to Northamptonshire

We've just enjoyed a lovely week on this site, best point was the gorgeous view from the pitches, which sloped down a valley and up the other side to green rolling hills. We had no idea that Northamptonshire was such a beautiful county, with plenty of good places to visit, such as the Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne, Jeyes of Earls Barton and Coton Manor Gardens, all of which were in easy distance and gave us lovely days out! Like other reviewers, we found the owner friendly and helpful, we too received a big welcome pack which was very useful. Another bonus was being invited by the owner to watch a display of dressage and horsemanship being put on in the riding school one evening, which was a unique experience! We will certainly return to this site again, there's plenty around the area we haven't explored yet!

Weekend away with friends

This is a lovely site, we found it rustic and peaceful. Please read your email attachment and note that you will need to use the access code to gain access to the site as we over looked this. We found the owner to be very helpful and patient, we were given a folder full of local attractions which was helpful. We walked to Coton Manor and had a fab day out. Just a word of warning the pub at Ravensthorpe stop serving food when it suits them so best to phone ahead especially if walking. We loved being able to see horses over breakfast, this site was just what we were looking for....thank you for a lovely stay

First Visit

Good site, good basic facilities. Was given information pack by owner who was very friendly and recommended the local pubs etc. Enjoyed watching the horses in the nearby paddocks. Noted a previous comment about road noise and disagree we did not find road noise was a problem. Good location for visiting local relatives. Will definitely return in the near future. Only minor criticism is that the lakes have been recently sold so the website description for this requires updating, otherwise excellent site enjoyed our stay.
